  1. I didn’t know they did all the shading in compositing. I thought they used a specific render engine for their lighting but nope. It’s also pretty odd how some people thought they used mocap for the animation despite there being evidence on Twitter that the animation was done with video reference from the official accounts of some Fortiche animators.

  2. I love the animators that are pretty well done, and very talented so much of the arcane. I love those guys there so many talents like Voice actors, parts of animators, and the musicians that are play pretty good. Especially Jinx as well I like her style as a look, like from the original coming from the game and into arcane.

  3. Thanks a lot for these videos, for real I loved watching them since Arcane is one of my favorite shows all time. Fortiche makes me proud of being French, they are so much talented, and yes, what you've done on music on first season has never been done anywhere. I really hope that one day we'll get physical versions of the show and the musics, since I watched the show for the first time i've been craving for a 4K bluray and an album of all the musics, OSTs.

  4. I just want to say thank you – to the creators of this documentary series, to the creators of Arcane, to the musicians, animators, designers, texturers, directors, to every creatively and financially involved person – THANK YOU for creating the most ambitious, most beautiful, most touching series in existence.

  6. This is absolutely truly so inspirational.

Watching every second of this was basically:

    “THAT’S HOW THEY DID THAT?!?!”

the amount of amazingly talented and hard working people they have working at each part:

    – how the storyboard artists start combing the story
    – how the concept artist begin drafting their art
    – how the 3D modelers use their art to create a model
    – how that 3D model is then sent to the rigging team to create movement and flow
    – THEY EVEN HIRED PEOPLE TO DO ANALOG ANIMATION

everything about this shows process was so well crafted and meticulous, every shot and scene from the show is truly its own “illustration and painting”

And absolute masterpiece and masterclass. I hope it catapults the industry into a better path.

It just feels so sad seeing HBO and Cartoon Network cancel their animation shows.

  9. So THAT'S why the gemstone stood out so much. I couldn't quite put my finger on it as to why aside from it is glowing. It was the perfect sphere that was putting me off and making the gemstone stand out compare to everything else.
