  2. I think it is a musical and lyrical masterpiece that has really spoken to me in this season of life with my kids all out of the house. As I prepared this post I decided to link the youtube video which I had never seen before. After watching it and reading the comments…well…I'm a puddle of tears. Apparently I'm not the only person who has found this song therapeutic and able to put into words what I've been unable to do.

The single I first heard on the radio was rebellion lies, I knew from the start that this group and music were something different, the first concert was in brussels(vorst) and I was amazed, saw them yesterday in lille and i was mesmerized, this song sounded even better live, wake up is always the last song and it's the perfect one to end this magical evening, they are the perfect example what music can bring all kind of emotions in a person! Thank you arcade fire for your unique viriosutie!!!!!

  34. Sometimes when I’m driving and listening to this song, I wonder what the music video is like. Like, it has to be joyous, right? And have kids dancing with abandon? And you guys, it was. It was all that and so much more.
