Arapahoe Basin ski area is Colorado’s small but big mountain ski resort. with some of the most gnarly runs in Colorado right off of chairlift access. If you want to push your riding to another level, this is a great ski resort.

You should try to collab with lucas catania. He’s been in Colorado recently.
Unless your in a helicopter your not getting to abasin from the airport in less then 2-4 hours in season. There are only 4 green runs at abasin and really 2 of them are cut through paths. I taught my fiancé to ride on the bunny hill there but unless you want to be lapping the same 2 runs all day with a Beginner the rest of this mountain will kill them. Beginner tourists have no buisness at Abasin. Ride keystone and once your crushing marmy the whole way go to abasin. Thank you for the daily updates on conditions with the daily uploads.
To answer your question on why Pali's still a fixed grip, its because they still wanted the history and same feel of the pali lift however, they wanted to reduce maintenance and increase safety.
i had a lot of fun when i went to a basin. the snow was pretty light and dry and there were no crowds on the pow day i went

Can’t wait for you to make your way over to Turner Mountain in Montana
One of the times I was here last year, I fell and badly dislodged my thumb (probably broke it but I’m to broke for hospital visits) and when I went to the medical hut, the ski patrol person kinda laughed it off and told me I was over reacting and they didn’t even have any ibuprofen to help me. I drove all the way back to Denver in horrible pain. Was back the next week skiing without my poles tho.
Can’t waste the ski season
The movie “In pursuit of soul” changed me forevermore. The independent mountains near the metro areas are the future of skiing. They are keeping the experience alive. Paid parking, overselling cheap season passes, mismanaging their resorts is why I don’t like Vail. Vail has ruined their East coast mountains with their one size fits all pass. Vail is pricing out brand new skiers into the sport.
Hey if you go to canada I would recommend of course whistler but another is marmot basin it’s so underrated if you can try it out and if you go to marmot than it’s like hours away from sunshine village,lake Louise etc it’s great
