United States Congress designated October 28th as National First Responders Day in 2017. The resolution honors the firefighters, law enforcement, EMTs and all those who are first on the scene. Sheriff Marty Fisher will host the 4th Annual “Thank you for your service” Appreciation Dinner, free for all Fayette County Firefighters, EMTs & Law Enforcement, their families and retirees. This event will be held at the American Legion in West Union, on Friday October 28th serving time 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. We will offer the meals in To-Go-Trays placed in bags to take home with you or tables will be set up to dine in as well. In order to ensure we have enough meals for everyone, it is very important to email your name, the Organization you are with, and the number of meals you are picking up for your family or group to: [email protected], by Thursday at noon on October 27th, 2022.
