Applying SPF under LED-UV Light | Dr. Medispa

Wearing sunscreen is important for a variety of reasons โ€ผ๏ธ

The primary reason is to protect your skin from the harmful effects of the sunโ€™s ultraviolet (UV) rays, which can cause sunburn, premature ageing, and even skin cancer.

When youโ€™re out in the sun, your skin is exposed to two types of UV rays: UVA and UVB. UVA rays penetrate deep into the skin and can cause premature ageing, while UVB rays primarily affect the surface of the skin and can cause sunburn. Both types of UV rays can contribute to the development of skin cancer over time.

To protect your skin from these harmful effects, itโ€™s important to wear sunscreen every day, even on cloudy days. Sunscreen with a high SPF (Sun Protection Factor) of 30 or higher can help block both UVA and UVB rays.

The one seen above is the Advanced Brightening UV Defense SPF 50 from @skinceuticals

โœ… Suitable for all skin types
โœ… Reduce the appearance of discolouration and age spots

These are the areas of the body that are most exposed to the sun, and therefore most vulnerable to the damaging effects of UV rays. Be sure to apply sunscreen liberally, and reapply it every two hours, or more often if youโ€™re sweating or swimming.

  1. LMAO! Caucasians are actually called Edomites, they are the descendants of Esau according to the Bible. They are not actually "white" they are are really ruddy/reddish/pinkish. If she's not an Israelite woman aka so called Black descendant of the people transported during the trans atlantic slave trade or Latino, I'm not interested.

  2. I think people in this comment are toxic. They just didn't understand the point of this video.

Thank you so much for showing us the sunscreen apply under the UV light camera. This is really helpful.

Can you also show what happened to the sunscreen after 2 hours, 4 hours and so on? I heard that the effectiveness of sunscreen decresease over time so that's why we need to reapply. And does dabbing clothes or tissue on the skin covered with sunscreen make it disappear(?) I don't know if that's the right term.

    Thank you

  3. Just donโ€™t spend much time with that UV light on your eyes!! I once had to make an emergency visit to the hospital in the middle of the night when I decided it would be a good idea to put the free light I got into my aquarium, which I sat right next to for a few hours. Turned out to be a UV light meant for pond filters.. The pain took some hours to set in but was unbelievably bad when it did.

  4. You wear gloves to prevent sunscreen getting on hands but how do you apply susncreen to your hands? Rubbing backs of hands together works its just difficult to get even coverage
