It was kinda funny how you were waiting for the duo to give you another 6drop pirate for infinite when you already couldnt spend your gold fast enough x). Did the exact same thing myself
if you got the tier 5 pirate that gives you gold beginning of turn I found that 2 normal captains or one golden are actually enough to be infinite
