Many cultures and rulers considered themselves to be the beginning of existence and the "gods" or the "god" and they had stories and history to "prove" it. That is nothing new and even goes on today as some current cultures claim their culture is ancient to the "beginning" of existence. We have rulers in modern history elevating themselves to "god-like" status. This has gone on throughout history, so why is the account here any different? I don't think it is. There is The One God who is The Creator, but there were many mortal rulers who were "god" in the eyes of their subjects. Then there was the tampering with human DNA and even those who did that were not "gods" but still they dared to tamper with THE God's handywork. And so here we are today with mortals again wanting to be "gods" and trying to tamper with human DNA… but that does not go well with He Who is God the Creator.

OK, so they came from Nibiru. Such an eccentric orbit would not lead to life developing naturally upon such a planet. They must have originated from elsewhere, IMO.
Any planet 4 times the size of the Earth might have 4 times the gravity and a 200 lb person might weigh 800 lbs…unless they can control gravity. And BTW they can't live on a red star as stated. Lets be honest rain is created by the sun evaporating the water on earth, so any amount of rain will not add more water.
