Anthony Albanese ‘so keen’ to use expensive EV’s at ASEAN Summit 'for a bit of PR'

Sky News host Peta Credlin says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is “so keen” to use expensive electric vehicles at the upcoming ASEAN Summit.

“The PM, I find this extraordinary, so keen is he at the ASEAN Summit next week in Melbourne that he wants to show off his EV fleet,” she said.

“These are very expensive BMW’s, six, seven hundred thousand dollars plus.

“So, they’re going to drive the cars, presumably, from the depot in Canberra, to Adelaide, to Melbourne, they are going to drive all these people around.

“This is extraordinary, all for a bit of PR.”

  1. Here is a thought. Federal Labor is going to build 30,000 more new homes than we currently can manage each year. Image tradies running around in electric trucks and spending half the day at a charging stations. Someone will pay dearly. You can guarantee they won’t be doing it for free. Commonsense needs to prevail. Are politicians that stupid and out of touch. It’s the nameless bureaucrats in the background who are paid 5 times more than the PM that are the issue. The TV show “Yes Minister” is more relevant today than when it was filmed. 🇦🇺
