Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Opposition leader Peter Dutton have given a statement on indulgence on the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

“Today, we mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day and we give thanks to all who stood for liberty, and we remember and honour all who fell,” Mr Albanese said.

“D-Day was an unprecedented feat of collective willpower and daring,” he said.

  1. Because its a special occasion to commemorate D Day I will not get political over Albo but respect him and Duttons kiind words to the thousands of men who lost their lives on D Day fighting against the tyranny of Nazism.

  2. The PM's speech writer has done a great job. I wonder how well the PM would have written the speech. I am reminded that ALP Bill Shorten had spent $620,000 in only two years, having someone else writing Bill's speeches for him – with Bill taking the credit for the speeches.

  3. Albogrease and Dagwood Dutton will commemorate by downing a few taxpayer funded drinks together, like they do every other afternoon while laughing at the rest of us mugs…
    BFF's Albo and Dutton.

  6. We need a digital D-Day, someone to save us from the tyranny of digital identity and digital currency, the same ideology was overthrown 80 years ago only it was a physical invasion

  7. I rarely comment on YouTube & if I do it's usually to praise somebody or something. However this Albanese bloke needs to go, he is most definately not worthy to even mention the people who fought to make this a freedom loving country, including members of my family, some who did not return. He allies himself with the descendants of the very people who opposed the freedoms we enjoy today at that time 80 years ago. He somehow arrived at his position as head of a government bent on taking away many of the freedoms won in WW2 by having only 36% of the ignorant population voting for him. His past history & alliances with factions who seek to undermine our freedoms make him unsuitable to whine his scripted made up dialogue in the Australian parliament. Bring on the next election to be rid of this menace & his mob of no-hopers. Remember that the Arabs who now claim the name "Palestiinians" were very close allies of the Axis forces & Albanese now opens our borders to more of these people to join his mates who are causing so much disruption in our communities without him even having the guts to comment on them.
