I would love to go on a cruise but I would need a scooter to move around. At the pools or hot tub is there steps with railing to get in or out. Some hotels have a lift to help handicap individuals to have access to the pool. I have no idea if you wanted to port. The way I travel is to I watch others videos and seeing pictures. I really enjoy your videos.

I can't wait to get back on this ship, I took a 9 day cruise a few years ago on it and I didn't have enough time to do everything on board. Going on my second cruise on this ship and can't wait to see what's new and to finish doing the things I didn't do last time. Unless they made it worse, I don't think you did Seaplex justice, did they remove the roller skating, did they remove the escape room, did they remove the high wire training?

Layout and overall vibe looks almost identical to Ovation of the Seas that my family and I just cruised to Alaska in July 2022. There are a few very minor differences but overall it’s almost identical which makes sense since they are sister ships. I’m looking very much forward to sailing Anthem next May 2023 from NJ to Southampton UK!!! 👍🏻👍🏻
What is the food like at cafe 270? Our stateroom is a shotwalk away from there so it looks like we will be going there a lot!

We have only been on Wonder of the Seas for a med cruise so I am nervous this one might be boring… As long as the kids club is great I guess it doesn't matter. The bumper cars look fun! Does it turn into ice skating also?

I'm on anthem right now and I gotta say it sucks big time compared to Oasis. The design of the ship have major flaws. Every balcony in mid ship where you have to pay extra is obstructed by lifeboats. There are no bathrooms next to adventure seas so try telling your 3 yr old to just hold it. There is nothing to do on this ship compared to Oasis for families unless you pay extra. On Oasis you get a carousel, Abyss, water slides, central park, park Cafe, and other complimentary actives and food. Here if you dare want to play air hockey it's extra. As for complimentary iFly, it's only complimentary day one. And if it's downpouring on your first day you're sheet out of luck. Enjoy the giraffe, hours of fun there

That boat would be great in a zombie movie, lots of potential, but that's it.
Just did Royal Caribbean on January 2nd and came back on January 13th, great experience but my family and I dealt with racism while cruising by White people on the ship and my family and I tried to ignore the dirty looks and being talked about and disrespected we laughed it off. We felt uncomfortable but still accomplished to have a magnificent time. It's 2023 and me being an African American I would've never thought I would experience racism at that magnitude. Next time I cruise with Royal Caribbean Cruises I will have proof of the ignorance and hate white people display towards African American people and will show the world what racism looks like while cruising. Another problem is that many people cough and not wearing a mask a racist white person coughed in my face which I was highly upset especially with coronavirus still around. People coughing around the food and not wearing a mask is a major issue. The ship and people that work on the ship were great and nice and friendly.

Why are so many US sites so patronising about England? How dare you say it's "usually grey" – you are clearly clueless, Anthem sails in the Summer time and as such grey skies are occasional but just as common in the NY area. Cruising is not just about US citizens, you make it sound like England is another planet.
Love the tour! We were on Anthem 4 years ago, biggest of the Royal ships we have been on. We will be going on it next year to celebrate our 50th anniversary. My only complaint I had about it, was the "Adult Solarium". I don't agree with the age that kids are allowed in the solarium. When we were on it, they kids were occupying many of the chairs & were goofing around in the pools, going from one to another. The weather was nice & my husband & I just wanted some down time away from the other pools. So there was really no need for the kids to be in the solarium. I would like to see them raise the age to 20 & above.
I am confused.

I'm taking Anthem for 7 nights which includes one day at Port Canaveral. Is there time to take a shuttle to Disney and spend a few hours there, or is there just not enough time to make it worthwhile?
I avoided this video like the plague prior to my cruise. I did so much research for it and if I would've watched this one to end the research I would've felt like I already went on it.. lol.
But now after returning from my first ever cruise I finally watched it! Spot on cruise ship tour video for Anthem. Everything on the video is exactly what's on the ship. It was a spectacular cruise ship and I can honestly say it was the best vacation I've ever had. I did absolutely everything on this ship, except the night club. My body shuts down way before DJ Rob starts. I cannot say anything negative about the ship, but I can give him some advice and comments:
– Get on that Cruise Compass (Royal Caribbean's app) right away and begin to reserve/plan/jot down the activities that you would like to do. A lot of things are first come first serve. The North Star pod and iFly are complimentary certain days, but you MUST reserve.
– Really think twice about the drink packages. We purchased the refreshment package which pretty much included everything except alcohol, but we barely drunk anything else except what was included in the Windjammer cafe. Which was water, fruit juices, coffee, and tea. You do get a Royal Caribbean Coca Cola cup which is used for the Coca Cola machine. It's the red machine you may see in the movie theatres that's touch screen with many drink options. We barely used that too. We would've been just fine without any drink package.
– Bumper car line goes by pretty fast. So don't be alarmed with the long line if you get there later.
– If you are a little concerned about the boat rockin' a bit, I recommend getting a stateroom mid ship. You will feel it less.
– If your excursion gets cancelled due to weather, they'll provide your Seapass account with the credit of what you paid. Our Kayak excursion at Coco Cay got cancelled due to the winds and they credited our account right away. That is if you book the excursion through Royal Caribbean.
