I'm sure if enough ice melts they will find structures from a former civilization that got wiped out when the temperature changed. There was a time when the atmosphere was 30 psi at sea level and there was so much carbon in the atmosphere it caused the planet to have very stable temperatures. The Equator was 80 deg F while the pole's were 70 deg F. No summer or winter because it was stable all the time, dragon flies with 6 foot wing spans and spiders as big as a small dog.
