  1. Speaking of taxes, I am glad the APs will be coming back. Though the result will be even more crowds. This issue for Florida residents and non-residents is that with no more Fast Passes, you'll be stuck like chuck in the stand-by. It will put more pressure on the stand by for everyone to give in and pay the Genie + tax. I am tempted to get another annual pass, but it seems more logical to just go to special after parties/holiday parties where paying extra actually gets you something.

  2. I'm a big Disney Parks fan but I'm glad Disney is not getting away with any of this woke agenda.. or thinking they can vent to the woke mob and not let anything happen to them

  3. It goes to show how badly DeSantis is floundering since his Reedy Creek powerplay blew up. A targeted hotel tax just at Disney owned hotels would never hold up in court, and a county wide hotel tax would unite more businesses behind Disney against DeSantis and pour more money into his opposition. Also it wouldn't mean anything, Disney would just raise prices and blame DeSantis and everyone would go with that because obviously.

The toll proposal is even stupider, that would benefit Disney! All it would do is make driving to the parks from other cheaper hotel or AirBNB options more expensive and push budget conscious tourists into staying at the park. It would royally screw over Floridians specifically too, aka, actual voters.

    The man is floundering.

  4. I remember when I was a DCP in spring 09’ and was paid $7.25 and had to pay $86/week for rent to stay in the housing which you HAD to stay in to be a DCP. One of the only things I hated about being a DCP

  5. Wow, Ronnie boy is a special type of stupid. If he keeps harassing Disney, they could literally shut down the park demolish the buildings and relocated elsewhere inside of 24 months. Then what he’s gonna lose billions of dollars and tourism money and his little state will likely go tits up inside of just a few years

  6. The only people the tolls will truly hurt are the cast members. If anything the tolls will cause the ‘market’ to readjust and you will have less locals going to Disney and more people willing to spend big on vacation going. Which in turn will cause the parks to have less people in them on average. Which isn’t a bad thing when you look at how crazy the parks have been since the pandemic—-almost always overcrowded. And with an increase in hotel taxes, hotels are gonna have to be more competitive to get guest.

  7. How does anybody look at Desanctimonious, and his policies, and go. Yeah that's my guy. 🤮🤮 I hope businesses are watching and making sure they never go into Florida. Who wants to own a company under a tyrant?

  8. Hotel taxes don't affect the people who live in Florida, unless they actually stay at one of those hotels. What those taxes really do is punish Disney's customers who stay in the bubble, or at the partner hotels. Most (I presume) of the people who stay are from out-of-state. Disney just passes those fees along to the customer in the form of room rates.

  10. DUMB Ron Dumb-ass Is clueless thinking that taxes and tolls will hurt Disney. Any tax or toll he levies would be handed down to the tax payers and tourists so that would just hurt the average "joe". But then again, that is par for the course as Republicans love to charge the middle class more every chance they get. If Dumb-ass goes thru with it, Disney should buy every billboard in the area that will let the public know that the increases that we see are courtesy of the Governor.

  11. Toll roads? What a tool! Besides, Disney could, if they wanted, could offset any toll he puts in front of their roads. $10 toll? Here's a $10 discount or $10 gift certificate! Governor Troll has lost, but he'll try and burn the whole state down with him. Good gosh I hope this clown doesnt get elected to president…

  12. desantis cannot win this, if he does then disney leaves and flordia loses 75000 job and billions of tax revenue (that they get from disneys customers buying) and other companies will see this dictator medling in the way they run their business and not move to flordia

  13. You all are thinking rationally about what DeSantis wants to do but he’s an unreasonable man! He want to have 🍆 measuring contest with a cartoon character!

  14. Disney can’t even afford to paint the castle back to its original color after the 50th anniversary and are closing many attractions! 🤣🤣🤣

If I’m Disney I’m apologizing to the state of Florida for getting involved in their politics and ask for forgiveness from DeSantis and a promise to keep their mouths shut in perpetuity politically. 😂😂😂
