Interesting enough but I cannot listen past Annie's expression of incredulity at the Russian Federation's distrust of NATO. Surprised that Lex let this biased opinion pass without comment.
Have we all forgotten how off world ships were able to disable them previously, I am sure they are up there knowing this and ready to deactivate them all again, there is no way they would not as this would not just hurt us it will affect the rest of the atmosphere, planets etc, out there, the ripple effect will be insane. So don't fear, rest assured they will intervene 🙋♀️💜💜💜

Its not really 100% true that the president "only has 6 minutes" – I understand what Reagan was saying, and that six minutes is the time and so on. But since the president then is also the ONLY person who can actually give the command, he can also decide to take 2 minutes more to make sure this radar-blip is 100% for sure actually a nuclear attack.
Yeah, nah. She frequently gets basic details wrong, or at least misattributes them. Annie has always been a fringe case of interesting reality or conspiratorial nutjob. This tips her into paid fearmonger. She might be a better salesman if she didn't seem to take herself so seriously.
These nukes must be made with recall, abilities, and safety devices so mistakes will be made. It needs to be international law for all weapons to have the ability to be shut down.

Just watch Nuclear Strategy parts 1-4 on YouTube, Annie’s take on nuclear issue is so basic, Garwin did not make a weapon, he did a experiment to see if a nuclear blast could trigger a fusion reaction in deterium. It was a island full of machines and devices, you could not drop it on anyone

A thoroughly sobering interview, and perhaps all the more timely this day (26 Mar ‘24) when yesterday, Russian Zircon missiles flew 700km in around 6 minutes to take out Ukrainian intelligence buildings with pinpoint accuracy… circular error probability of less than one metre!

I’ve been hearing this since the 70’s. I mean sure, but fixing it is the problem. Nobody in their right mind is going to just dismantle all their nukes.
I was part of this. I was associated with submarine nuclear missiles in the early 90's. Everyone in that world knows all those arcronyms. I also lived in Nebraska in the 70's & 80's (as a punk rock kid).
Everyone in the 80's knew where a fallout shelter was. Nuclear war was a question in the '84 VP and Presidential debates. We had less to put us to sleep.
This was by far the scariest podcast I've ever listened to. I had to stop.
