Ugh! I understand personally what the first young lady "Kay" has experienced, being a smaller female and having to deal with ignorant ppl who, just because they're either a little taller than u or a giant, for some asinine reason think they don't have to respect u or ur space? Due to my already being a SA/physical, abuse survivor I despise when a person thinks I'm an easy target? When they try that, I'm quick to politely inform them, "NOT to let my height, gender, light/melanin skin tone, fool them!" I refuse to be that same victim I was as a bullies child or teen? It's disgusting how way too many ppl have nothing more positive going on in their lives, than making another human being feel unsafe/good about themselves?

So grateful to live in Australia. Being remote from most of the world and having strict customs laws around the import of animals we have avoided introducing rabies into the country.

Animal Control in my hometown was full of creeps… They've seized and killed peoples dogs for things as minor as "barking aggressively", and one agent got fired and arrested for trying to" get intimate" with one of the dogs in his "care".
That was a decade ago… things have supposedly changed for the better, but I still don't trust them: there's almost no oversight into what goes on at a lot of those places, and in many cases, the "rescuer" is actually the abuser.
I think the story about Ben was the most disturbing in this episode⦠Your voice for him was quite chilling. Also, I listen to kindagarten bloodbath from tales of the break room, my blood ran cold.
I'm totally blind so I can't see the pictures, most of the time I listen to it through my eerie plus subscription. But I don't have to see them to hear the stories, I don't miss out on anything. π
Rabies can be cured if caught early but once symptoms start showing its game over.
