It won’t matter if we had Vince Lombardi with the headsets on if u don’t have the talent to be a good team well coaching don’t mean shit and Roseman as should Siranni should be on the hot seat 80percent of his draft picks have been horrible he’s good at managing the cap that’s about it so till he hits on his drafts we’re going to continue to not win Super Bowls that’s the bottomline
The 2017 Eagles Super Bowl team was nothing more than
"Lightning in a Bottle" aka being very lucky or unlikely.
I've lived in Florida since the 2006 season, and have gone through all types of gymnastics to watch my beloved Eagles, rarely missing a game over the years. Watching the developing debacle of this offseason, I refuse to invest my time and heart in next season. The Eagles have, once again, slipped into the disappointing position of having a front office caring less than the fans do. I am convinced that their ineptness is overshadowed only by their indifference.
The Eagles SB in 2017 was the greatest sports moment I have ever seen and been apart of. We were underdogs every single playoff game and playing with a backup QB. The moment that hail mary hit the ground the first thing I did was look for anything yellow. When I was positive no flag was thrown I jumped up and hugged my Army buddy whose house I was watching it at. He has an old veterans stadium seat and I sat in that seat the entire game. I was so drunk the next day at work I'm surprised I didn't get fired. Cause we partied hard the rest of the night.
The Philly media was just as weak as Howie and Nick. NO ONE asked any tough questions. My question: "You didn't just go 1-6. You got absolutely shredded in four games. You did not even compete against the Giants. Two of the losses you had double-digit leads in the second half against weak teams. You were the worst team in the NFL over that span. How do explain that your team just flat-out died? Your team did not struggle, your team DIED! The 3-11 Cardinals scored 4 straight TDs in the second half (AT HOME). Your offense (with the 'best' offensive line in football) could not get any clutch first downs all season. And you did not seem to be able to address any of these issues for 2 months.
Angelo Cataldi and Dan Sileo could make you miserable celebrating your birthday.
The only thing I disagree with Angelo on is that he thinks Jalen Hurts is the long-term answer at QB. I cannot ignore how Hurts carried himself during the last 7 games. He provided no leadership. He made no attempt to rally his fellow players. His very own body language shouted that he had QUIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He got his money and now is playing un-inspired football. Gangster mentality is there, too! Just look at how A. Smith played down the stretch. There was no change in his approach to playing his position like you saw in Jalen. Mark my words: You will not be successful, moving forward, with Jalen Hurts!
We have the wrong guys leading this organization.
The Eagles have been in my heart and soul for 50 plus years. I can't take this trash anymore, I'm too old !

The coach is just a puppet and as long as howie and Laurie are running the show, it wont change. I love the ONE super bowl we have. When Howie and a lot of the media keeps saying, "well Nick took the Eagles to the SB last year and had a steller winning records the last three years" that drives me insane! Why? Well, Sirianni, when he took over after Doug P, he had a Super Bowl caliber team, of course they performed well! And we see what happened this year after the SB loss. We lost all of the coordinators. Nick hired a bunch of guys that were terrible. And didn't Sirianni say publicly that he was running the same offense over the last three seasons? THAT should have been a clear sign that he can't coach his way out of a paper bag.
I'll tell you that yesterday, I lost a LOT of respect for the Lurie and the Eagles organization. I hope he isn't turning into a Jerry Jones.
The only Reason upper MANAGEMENT IS KEEPING NICK is if next year is a disaster they have a fall guy so Howie &Jeffery don’t look bad!! Nick is literally a FUCKING PUPPET!!

Not the players??? It seems like the players ONLY care about their stats and their next contract. I realize that it's not all but enough to affect the others. Them giving up made me sick. 8-9 next year barring some miracle.
