  1. Knowing someone who has committed suicide close to you can be an isolating experience as well. People don’t know what to say about that when confronted by it, and the conversation remains brief. It can feel hard to connect and open up to those who “haven’t been through it” but remember that was everyone’s life before, every new day is a different day. It’s important to not feel alone.

  2. I love you DJ because instead of wanting the world to suffer like you have. You understand true suffering and would never wish evil or that type of suffering on anyone else. There are two types of humans in this world your fellow Demetrious Johnson and Jeffrey Dahmer. You can either use your life as an excuse to do evil or to be the best version of yourself. Be Demetrious Johnson. I'm so glad I met you and I can't wait for you to hit 1 mil I've been riding with you since 100K.

  3. i met Angela when i was on deployment and was in Singapore for a month. she did this whole meet and greet/MMA class for us for a couple hours. super, super sweet person. she gave us autographs and pics with her for free. we also got free tickets for ONE Fight Night (Stamp v Ham) the next day which is when she retired. sad to see, but i wish her the best. a true champion.

  4. Losing someone from depression is unimaginable. I part of me died too. It's a struggle everyday. One day you're fine, the next day you're thinking about that person, and it hurts. Stay strong folks. Love the people around you and tomorrow is never promised.

  7. I don't think it is wise to promote vulnerability amongst men. Women, sure. They are much more emotional and have much more difficulty accepting reality. Emotional men are at a, seemingly, all time high. Western society is deteriorating before our eyes and emotional men are to blame. I respect both of you and your harrowing stories. However, once gain, it is not wise to promote vulnerability amongst men.

  8. For everyone that don't have a good relationship with your parents. Unless it's very bad. My advice is don't give up on them. Maybe they're not in a good place to repair the relationship now. But maybe it can be fixed a few years down the road. Most likely they're a bad parent because they didn't have the best upbringing either. Try and give them grace.
