  1. Josh you can't count a CDM on switches as he's in the middle of the park. You're comparing him to Trent who spent 95 percent of the season stuck to the right touchline

  2. The problem I have is I don’t know why the management haven’t explained this to Robertson. Obviously he is still telling him to go forward because for Scotland he doesn’t.

  3. When you understand that mentality and attitude ramk as high as talent and price maybe you'll all calm down and save your business acumen for football manager where you do wwhat you want😊

  4. This transfer season stared so well with Mac and is now turning to …….. After Mac DM should have been prioritised.
Analysing this team is duff until a DM comes in and CB…. Until them its gonna be a topsy-turvy start hope the players can hold it together……
FSg have let the sqaud down again….

  5. It's not a risk, it's insanity.
There are 2 AMAZING DM's available for £30-40m, Sangare at PSV and ALvarez at Ajax. They're both the right age, right build, plenty of experience, and their stats are WILD! Their stats indicate Top 10, Top 5 in the world as a DM mind you it is the Dutch League but it's crazy to me we aren't in talks with them again. Sangare was last season and he's my preference of the 2 but I'd take either HAPPILY.. Like, I'd back them to be world class NOW.

  6. If he costs us 20 million andre, then he may be worth the gamble, but i wud want someone at 6 with pace, power and a presence, which i think we need if were going to carry on with this kamikaze formation.

  7. Klopp is telling Robbo to go forward steve clarke tells him to stay back and he does so what do you not get and Mo Robbo and Trent are the main creators in terms of goals and Trent had one assist before he changed everybody in the teams position so Klopp could justify playing the worst defensive fullback in the prem.

  8. On the Q about the FBs and when they go fwd …

Its fine for Robbo to go on a romp … as long as the two DMs in the box midfield drop back and wide to cover for them! THAT is the issue. We have no mids with the defensive nouse to A) recognize when they should drop to the wings and B) the pace to get back quickly enough to the key positions to foil the inevitable counter attacks.

  9. What's with all these amateur podcasters making smacking sounds in between sentences and pulling weird faces? Fidgeting constantly. So annoying! Get on to Josh doing this. Redmen TV idiots do it too. 🤮

  10. Lets just get it done. Lavia is too young to carry midfield for a season. Andre needs to happen NOW cos if he goes to a mid div PL club they'll add 35mil to price AND LFC will be outbid by a rival!! I👋👍😉🤣😂😂😂

  11. We are sacrificing players for this 'inverted full back' all because Trent has become a dodgy right back in a conventional back 4. Play Trent in midfield, or not at all. As even Southgate learned.

  12. Also from what know Fluminense play this revolutionary tilted system where players in possession have no fixed positions and are all clustered to one side of the pitch making it crowded. So switching play is not Something Andre would generally need to do since the team plays mostly using short passes. Kind of like street football. Disappointed the lads did not mention this. Great show otherwise as usual 😊

  13. There doesn’t need to be a width problem off the left.

Interestingly, Mac Allister has started as a right-sided No. 10 & Szoboszlai has started as the left-sided No. 10. This is because off the right Salah is playing wider & holding his width longer, which stretches the play & allows Mac Allister to drift into those half-spaces.

Diaz & Jota come inside often, however, Szoboszlai AND Jones are comfortable drifting wide & playing tight to the touchline – Robbo doesn’t need to go as much because of this.

  14. You’re saying for Robbo to just sit back & act as a proper LCB, but if that’s the case, there’s waaaaaaaaaay better proper defensive LCB’s out there & we still need to replace him in the side. Certainly against good sides with quality wingers because it’s too easy to get in behind our vacant fall backs.
We NEED a quality LCB, a destroyer of a DM & another player that can play both DM & 8. Also I would like another RCB / RB type player to cover Konate.
He’s a bit injury prone and he’s so important to this side.

  15. Here lies the problem… Traditionally for the 3223 system to work effectively, you need 3 centre backs and something has to give and unfortunately it's Robbo that has to give in this instance because he doesn't fit the system… And it's klopp that has the tough decision to make which is dropping Robbo and buying a left sided centre half such as Inacio, who would be perfect… But don't worry lads he won't do that because he doesn't have the minerals to…Bare minimum, We still need a proper No6 not Lavia and a left sided centre half not Colwell. Let's not forget lads it's forwards that win you games but it's defences that win you leagues. 🤞YNWA.

  16. The only 2 commentators I really listen too and trust, when it comes to analysing players. I still like Thuram… just a big unit, I think he could be a defensive 6, who could also play 8, or center back given enough time and training.
