Pete can do whatever he wants. he's the GOAT, and this video always blows me away. best performance of this song ever. [EDIT]: came back to say i always loved the little detail of Keith Moon's headphones being duct-taped to his head to keep them on his head, because he's such a manic monster on the drums, lol
I HIGHLY recommend doing The Real Me from the Quadrophenia album. They all go hard in that one.
Best who sing ever!!!❤️
This is the who!! Energy! You have no idea how these guys would play for three hours like this!! So great!!
Aerosmith was influenced by The Who….not the other way around!! The Who was part of the British Invasion of English bands who became popular after The Beatles came to the U.S. and became such a huge force in American rock and roll! The WHO….one of the best rock bands of the mid to late 60’s through the 70’s! OMG!
Man… to hear this one for the first time again.
The Who composed rock symphonies, not just music. As for their body movements, well, that's always been the white man's burden.
The Who were a great band with some great songs, all four of them top performers in their field and the band as a whole perfectly equal to the sum it's constituent parts.
HAHAHA!!! Loved the ending!
Townshend was flying pretty high in this song. 😊
The bass guitar is really unique: multiple pickups and lots of controls. Mystery guitar.
I saw them at their first last show in San Diego. I think that they have had about 4 more "last show". It sounds familiar if you have ever watched any of the CSI tv shows.
Roger Daultry, the lead singer, was a pretty good actor. He was in several episodes of Highlander, and narrated a show about the old west. I never understood why an Englishman would host a show about the wild west, but it worked.
He has has sisters shirt on 😂
This is true music I thank god I could be apart of it
The Who is one of the best.
The Who was my first favorite band. I love them.
Keith Moon is my favorite drummer. He played the drums like they were lead guitar….
Have you seen A Quick One While He's Away from the Rock and Roll Circus? That performance is legend. Moon is absolutely magnificent…
This is a bad version acoustically
Seen them years ago in Michigan or Ohio. I was only 17 so 1978
LMFAO>>>>HAW!!….."Definitely has his sister's shirt on".
Funny as shit…..I almost blew my coffee all over my keyboard.
Thanks for the morning laugh.
I've been blessed to see the Who in concert twice. They have a great portfolio of songs. Entwhistle was such a great bass player. I saw them at Fenway Park and they killed it. If you get a chance listen to '5:15' by the Who. A song about catching a train. Musically it is INCREDIBLE.
Pete Townsend,
the a$$ wiggler,
Sex Offender…
Iron Maiden
Rime of the Ancient Mariner….
Take a ride, you wont be disappointed….
Rock on..
