Egyptologist Anthony Browder rates eight ancient Egypt scenes from movies and television for realism.
He analyzes the accuracy of the mummification process depicted in “The Mummy” (1999), with Brendan Fraser, and “Moon Knight” (2022), starring Oscar Isaac. He also comments on pyramids and ancient ruins in “Raiders of the Lost Ark” (1981), starring Harrison Ford; “Gods of Egypt” (2016), featuring Chadwick Boseman; and “The Ten Commandments” (1956). Browder discusses famous pharaohs, kings, and queens depicted in “Exodus: Gods and Kings” (2014), “Cleopatra” (1963), and “Tut” (2015).
Browder is the director of the ASA Restoration Project, which is the first African American-funded archeological excavation in Egypt. The ASA is currently excavating three 25th-dynasty Kushite tombs. He is also an associate professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and the author of books such as “Nile Valley Contributions to Civilization.”

There is no reference in the bible that specifically states that Moses story took place during the Dynasty of Rameses the 1st, thats humans implication. Its actually theorized that Moses story took place just before the first dark age in Egyptian history, when their enemies where just able to walk in and occupy it.

"Kemet" does not mean land of the blacks. It means "the black land" refering to the black soil. Which was responsible for their great fortune.
They wouldnt name themselves or their country after their skin colour. And the ancient egyptians were actually a unification of 2 seperate egyptian kingdoms.

12:10 old egyptians wasn't black or white actually they were brown as depicted in the drawings they had access to black colors as it was clear in the nubian drawings. and alot of new genome studies of nowadays egyptian support the ancestry of the current egyptians to the old egyptians

Kemet 'The Black Land' does not refer to the race of the Ancient Egyptians but rather the soil of the Nile Delta. Ancient people's did not refer to themselves by such modern racial terms.

Cleopatra actually was not an Egyptian, as being from the ptolemaic dynasty she was of greek descent so wouldnt it make Sense her being of lighter Skin although not as pale as she is portraid generally?!

Kmet refers the land, literally the black soil brought by the Nile. Think about it, why would the Egyptians call themselves black and then differentiate themselves from the depictions of the Kushites, who where definitely black . There were definitely Black Egyptians though. I just doubt that they named their kingdom after the ethnicity of their people

No. They were most likely similar to Middle Easterns today. Even their artwork depicts themselves as more red and browned skin than they do deep African black. So no. "land of the blacks" was a crock

Egypt might be in Africa but Egyptians aren't "black". There not black now and they weren't black thousands of years ago. They're not white but there certainly not black.
Almost every description of the pharaohs indicates they had light skin. Not "white" skin, but light skin. So trying to say cleopatra was "black" is ridiculous

This guy has some interesting points, but he's clearly on a racial crusade to include "Black" history to ancient Egypt; Kemet – being "Black Land" due to the colour of the soil and not "land of the blacks" as in the people, and Cleopatra probably would've been closer to Irene Papas than Halle Berry as she was Macedonian in descent…of course Hollywood has whitewashed, but I think he's taking some liberties here.
An expert in Egyptology whom doesn't know that Kemet means black earth and is a reference to the land surrounding the Nile River, not race. There's a racial glyph done by the Ancient Egyptians that depicts the races of man, showing the Nubians as black, Greeks as white and the Egyptians and Phoneceians as brown.
Thoth was also an Atlantean.
