  2. Dawn of man was a half baked mess that got more frustrating as you played it. After watching a bunch of the UK's Time Team I learned its also quite inaccurate as far as settlement functions go. Don't understand why they added the later ages and changed it into a bad rts.

  3. Man, this seems to run like crap, and really looks quite bland. Saw someone mention that it runs badly even on a 3090… That is some shoddy optimisation. Guess I'll wait for a sale on this one, as it's currently AU$60. Might grab a "demo" in the meantime to test its performance.

  4. Never seen a game's shader system be so terrible, takes a long time to render the shaders on first load, then you get into game and it just stutters like crazy, doesnt matter if its on low or high setting. I got a Ryzen 9 5950x, 32GB ram @3200mhz and a Rog Strix 4080 OC edition lol. Roughly 35FPS on high, 50-60 on low. and just stuttering all over the place.

  5. After my Farthest Frontier disappointment I am definitely not jumping into another prematurely. I think what ruined FF was the word "brutal" in there description. The devs had no clue how to make it brutal other then worthless inconsistent traders, spoon feeding you settlers, resource scarcity issues and the nonstop changing imbalance of everything else you had to deal with as they pivoted from one idea to the next in there attempt to keep it a "brutal" survival game.

  6. I gave this game multiple tries, once when it first came out , then later with the recent updates and still i just cant get into it, there is no music to give you a nice atmosphere, no style, everything is convoluted and hidden inside multiple menus. Stuff like tents and simple things take days to make….the only good thing about this game is the visuals but even those are poorly optimized and game runs like shit on a high end pc.

  7. What you call a “notch” in a river is called an ox bow by cartographers because of its shape. I love your videos. I’m really looking forward to Manor Lords. I’m on a fixed income (I’m an old lady, lol), so I have to know any game is worth the cost before I purchase it.

  8. Have to go out to work shortly so I'll watch this later – but where would I build as my first choice? On the site of the present day city of Belfast. It's on an island so it's harder to invade, it's right next to a large lake with plenty of fish, there were loads of forest in ancient times, drought was almost unheard of and the land was very fertile.

  9. I remember the first time I heard about this game.
I noticed that they were developing their own engine, despite having a single person working on code.
I immediately knew it was going to be a total failure.

  10. The game seems improved but the blurriness is off the charts I fill like I need glasses even sharpened to the max it is blurry 4 gigabytes seems low for a game like this. I believe it will run on my old 486 Pc. The graphics are too hard on my eyes.

  11. Love your videos, thanks. Just curious but 1) does this game have raiders and can you turn them off? 2) Does it require religion of any kind to play and if so, can it be avoided or ignored?
