Ancient Ammo Unearthed on Lot 7 (Season 12) | The Curse of Oak Island

The team discovers a musket ball on Lot 7 that Laird and Emma determine to be lead, from the mid-1700s and used in a French firearm. The chemical analysis suggest that it was also created on the island. This revelation leads the team to suspect it may support the theory about Duc D’Anville’s potential occupation of the island.

  1. Anyone could have come to the island in search for treasure, so what difference does it make if you find french, english, portuguese anything? Yes, it may be interesting but does nothing to solve any mystery because it would all be total speculation.

  5. Perhaps I missed it but if I were researching in Europe for Oak Island, I would be looking for documentation from the French government or British that writes about making trips to Oak Island to search for treasure or booty taken by privateers and hidden on the Island. The Germans kept detailed records at their death camps, so perhaps other countries did the same thing.
