The Bible actually gives a possible explanation. Before languages were confused, the people tried to build a tower to reach the heavens, known as the Tower of Babel. After languages were confused, the people scattered on the face of the entire world. This would allow for the knowledge of the tower, possibly a pyramid, to scatter with the people. Give humans a little more credit. Btw, you can literally see the progression of pyramid building over the ages culminating in the Great Pyramids. These were top-tier tradesmen with unlimited human resources at their disposal, and I'm not talking slaves… I'm talking about entire communities of highly trained workers. You'd be amazed what you can accomplish with levers, pulleys, squares, compasses, plumbs, and levels.
