Ayeeeee best hold finally!

Babe: come over my parents aren't home
Me: sorry, Pukebeard just uploaded
And once again, my day off is saved by Papa Pukebeard
I see, I click, I enjoy.
Hell yes!! Made my day!
Dwarven playthroughs are always comfy, great video, give Ameion a try next time.
I have a soft spot for Krakdhumvror since they were my first campaign in Anbennar almost a year ago, i choose them because i heard that the Dwarves were amazing and unique and i picked them thinking that a more isolated start was a good pick for a new player.
I think a strong point in their favour is their theme (ice dwarves sounds pretty cool) and the fact that they are the only Dwarf hold that does not focus on "rebuilding our past glory", while other want look at the past and try to recreate a new and improved version of who they were Krakdhumvror is creating their new identity from scratch.
The fact that your final mission is crafting a new crown really shows how they see the old empire as completely dead and they are the new Dwarf empire.
I really like these dwarves as they are one of the dwarven tags forging something new rather than remembering the old (more of these have been added as the mod has grown, there are at least 4 now). Due to this you get to explore all the old dwarven holds but with young ambition rather than mere nostalgia. My only real complaint is some of their last missions require very high dig levels which can be tricky if you don't know its comming.
Heho scale XD
Man you killing me with all these dwarves
taking a small break from my Krak campaign to watch Pukebeard's Krak campaign
Hi there, whilst I don't really work on Anbennar anymore back in the day I was the one who layed the ground work for Krakdhumvror, I mostly did the ideas, national character and base lore stuff before developers far more talented than me took them and made the awesome little nation we have now (:
Just wanted to say they thanks for giving them a highlight as they have a soft spot in my heart and I never thought the little Ice Dawrf nation I wrote a lore doc on for a laugh would get so popular. Really enjoy your content Pukebeard can't wait for more!
This was actually the first nation i played in anbennar, nostalgic a bit
MASSIVE LEGEND
The return of the northern dwarves
Great video, another dwarf hold I recommend is Hul-az-Krakazol.
Yessssssss
I played these boys all the way back when they had 5% adm eff in their ideas and their provinces still had Chinese province names lmao. They’ve come so far since then 😢
My Icy Bois!
Tried that fellow ice-mage crackhead dwarfs and failed at one point due to anormaly strong orc and centaur nations and chain allied dwarf empires.
a new pukebeard video, and it’s long, and it’s for a dwarf tag, and its one of my fav anbennar tags in general, praise be
Another story of the best Anbennar storytellying men! 😉
my favorite dwarves!! hell yeah
Unique disaster with lot of flavor, great ideas (maybe just inferior to Shaztundir and Arg-Ordstun, depending on the playstyle), excellent color, good pacing of the (extensive) conquest. I quite like them, along with Shaztundir (another very wide dwarf conqueror).
I like frozen dwarf's because of unique 1st tier government, close to Amldir and absolutism, may grant more estate privileges + pretty nice national ideas (dev cost, tech cost, reform progress, discipline)
Krakdhumvror was the first MT I made and what made me get into working on this mod. I honestly am surprised so many people enjoy it.
Thank you for the video, means a lot.
Oh and thanks for telling me about that starting disaster cheese. You can bet I'll be fixing it ;).
can i ask for a mods list cause my pop and military tabs are buggy and glitched. and the mage tab is glitched out too
Imho, krakdhumvror is among dwarfiest of dwarves, while other holds around them are chasing some form of gimmick to set themselves apart (like orlghelovar's artificery, lodhum's outside diplomacy or orlazam's cavalry focus), krakdhumvror goes all in with tried and true dwarven specialties: highly developed holds, high defensiveness and an isolationist focus inside their mountain, on that note, contrary to how you went about it, krak can actually complete it's mission tree without ever conquering a single province outside the serpentspine (note that the northern pass actually counts as part of the serpentspine continent), and are in fact geared to do just that, gaining large defensive bonuses to all provinces that connect to the outside (or just destroying the provinces like they do in the deepwoods).
The best of the remnant dwarves, awesome to see you posting this!
Never get tired of the Dwarves. I long for the day my beloved Arg-Ordstun get their own content. Great vid as always bro!
Is it bad that I'm assuming the five clans of Krakdhumvror came from the main gangs of the place when it was still a prison colony?
(sorry for bad english im not a native english speaker)
Could you pls make a video on Bluescale or Redscale i find them very intresting but also extremely brutal wich is why i think they would make a intresting video.
Stormwind Theme power intro? Yes please and thank you.
The costs of those spells are crazy. I get that dwarves are rich, but really?
I played these guys, shortly after they were released, except I went republic, as I felt going monarchy would have been a betrayal of the 'skill over blood' ethos at the heart of the nation. I found them … fine? Certainly enjoyable enough, but not 'unique' enough to really stand out amongst all the other enjoyable nations on offer. IIRC, I literally never used the ice-smith spells (except when required by missions, if they ever were?), even the 'freebies', and agree they have a lot of wasted potential, given how 'core' it is to their theme.
Still, a nice trip down memory lane, thank you.
I love Krak's flavor the most out of all the dwarf holds I played so far. From the clan based elections, to the grudge against the old dwarven empire, to the expeditions into the unknown north and the industrialisation efforts of the northern pass.
They were also my first dwarf tag I played, and man, was that chaotic and memorable!
Shamefully choosing to create a monarchy like the decadent empire of old that exiled the honorable ancestors instead of staying true to the meritocratic ideals of the Hold and creating a Free Republic, smh.
Krakdhumvror was the second ever nation I played in Anbennar and I have fond memories of them. The idea of this republic of outcasts in the middle of nowhere overshadowing the empire that neglected them and building something new in it's place through sheer grit and perseverance was appealing to me. They are the dwarfiest of all dwarves!
Great video, always nice to watch but if i were you i would play on publicfork version because the new added disabling regions speeds up the game by even few hundred percent (Disabling aelantir helps so much)
For me they were the first tag that really got me in the mod and I like their fluff of just wanting their Mountain empire of dwarves and everyone else to sod off
Ayyy, more pukebeard! Looking forward to this
FINALLY!!!!!! My favorite Anbennar tag 🙂
Strike the earth! Wait wrong game! love seeing more of your videos Puke
so the dwarves have the land up above instead of the land down under as prison colony, neat!
