  1. How is there no Grass type punching move yet?
There’s no way the guy who named Overquil didn’t realize you can call it “Tropical Punch”.

Also, the reason it states that moves like Triple Arrow were changed is because they were in Legends Arceus.

Lastly, I feel like your criticism of some of the attack names was odd.
Victory Dance doesn’t describe what it does, but neither do Dragon Dance or Quiver Dance.
Victory Dance’s name is based on the Pokémon that learns it (Hisuian Liligant).
Just like Dragon Dance describes how most of the Pokémon that learn it are Dragon type, or dragon-like.

  2. Thank for linking properly my Sheet, I appreciate it! 😄 People often tend to just blabber over it without givint it to the people to check for themselves.
Glad it was useful to you 😁

There's indeed moves which describes a 'critical hit' in the description, without any added critical-rate in reality.
Lunar Blessing isn't an Heal Bell, it's only for on field Pokémon.
Take Heart is for Manaphy, but he's not in the game.
The Expert Belt ability is Neuroforce, and is indeed unique to Ultra-Necrozma.
Snowstorm is only boosting Defense for Ice-type.

  3. So… am I supposed to assume that BKC has been living under a rock to not know the slightest thing about the Hisuians since January of 2022?

Is that part of some channel lore I'm not aware of?

  4. damn what is gamefreak smoking? it's like let's design a new move hm it's gonna be fighting type, have 130 base power, 100% accuracy and deals an additional 50 points of damage if your opponent has ever eaten food in their life

  5. Idc about spoilers does anybody know if paradox pokemon’s names are ACTUALLY what they’re called? Like is it actually called Great Tusks, or is it called past Donphan or just Donphan, something else? I’ve been tryna learn the new pokemons names and I’ve gotten a decent grip on connecting names with what each Pokémon is already but I haven’t really studied the paradox Pokémon names cause I figured they were just code names but when lists refer to them as names like “Great Tusks” it has me really curious. I figured it was like ultra beasts where they had UB-01 type stuff.

  6. 14:42 I honestly never even thought of the fact fairies have been hindered in gen 9 between SV AND PLA(I know this is gen 8 but gen 9 is when hisuian forms can be used competitively) there’s Sneasler and Overqwil with their signature moves to name a few, and I’ve seen a lot of Pokémon are getting gunk shot now.

  7. Pray for my man Weavile 🙏🏻 losing Knock Off and Triple Axel, he’s gonna go back to a lower tier which honestly he was one of those Pokémon where if the opponent had them they’d fuck me up but I couldn’t use them myself as effectively, but I hope when dlcs come out he can get something back as well as some of the others mons. Game hasn’t even come out yet but I’m still not over the fact home transfer moms can’t keep their old moves, mainly Pokémon that has knock off, toxic, defog to name a few, don’t even get me started on how much Rillaboom was destroyed, also another Pokémon opponents used much better than me than when I used it on others. Not gonna say I’m too sad for the fact they used it better on me than me on them, but still sad nonetheless. I hate seeing Pokémon falling from glory.

  8. BKC Glaive Rush sounds like we play it similarly to Gen 1 Hyper Beam no? Awesome finisher move— less powerful by 30 but much more reliable (100 acc, Dragon instead of Normal) and less punishable (if they predict and switch in Steel Type to live, I can still switch out). Seems like a nice spam option. Sweepers might prefer Outrage, but Choiced Wallbreakers would probably prefer having this (alongside something like Dragon Claw or Scale Shot).

  9. BKC: “At least Stone Axe isn’t as powerful as Stone Edge!”

Me: “He doesn’t know that Kleavor’s ability sharpness gives it a 1.5 times boost, meaning stone axe is 97.5 bp… 💀”

  10. 4:20 important for stone axe is that its from cleavor, which has the sharpness ability, which boosts cutting moves, including stone axe. We don't know if the boost is 1.5 like strong jaw or 1.2 like iron fist but either way it makes the move even scarier
Same goes for ceaseless edge with samurott

  11. a lot of these moves have precedent you didnt mention: double shock and burn up, trailblaze and flame charge, pounce and lunge/strugglebug. also i'm pretty sure cresselia's is a copy of jungle healing, not heal bell plus recovery

  12. Hi BKC, I had a question and wondered if you could answer it (maybe even do a video on it, since you did one each for abomasnow and heatran in adv). How good would ttar be if it were steel/dark instead of rock/dark? Keeping its movepool, ability, stats, but only the typing changed
