  1. This analyst is terrible. He's wafting on and not really saying anything. If you're looking for a knowledgeable political and security risk analyst to give proper analysis, reach out to either @Pol_Sec_Analyst (Ryan Cummings), @_hudsonc (Cameron Hudson) or myself (@DarrenDavids2)

  2. Most of Western legal, institutional, economic and foreign policy are still framed by the Westerners' sense of entitlement and supremacy due to their imperial past. Hence, the colonial past is still alive ideologically in many Westerners' worldviews, especially those who have political and economic power. The reason why there is immigration to former Imperial nations is because the same countries still perpetuate colonialism through other means.

  3. Ecowas need to support Niger 🇳🇪 , Mali 🇲🇱 , and Burkina Faso 🇧🇫 and stop serving Western Imperialism. It is time for Africa to be free of Colonialism.

  4. If Europeans support this Group of selfish dictators called CEDEAO to start a war in West Africa and drive people away from their countries, they will all flee to Europe to seek refuge, and nothing will stop them. It is NATO’s destruction of Libya, and the CEDEAO’s incapacity to keep its population safe that caused the refugee crisis in the Sahel to Europe, not military coup d’états, and it seems European leaders still haven’t learned their lesson yet.

  6. Did this "analyst" just claim that Taoreed Lagbaja of NGA is the chief of Africa's largest army or did I hear him wrong? Whats his source because the last I checked, Egypt had the largest army in the continent and NGA is not even second nor third??? 🤥🤥

  9. Democracy in Africa leads to widespread corruption, mismanagement, inefficiency, and poverty. What each African nation need is a Colonel Muammar Ghaddafi-type ruler to manage their country efficiently to develop the country and get them out of poverty … This applies to many third-world countries outside Africa too.

  10. The elephant in the room is France subjecting African countries to neo-colonial slavery. African leaders should focus on supporting solution to 21st century slavery first and when the people of Niger are freed from the shackles of France before we begin to worry about bringing democracy to the people of Niger. Democracy and slavery cannot coexist in the same society.

  11. What about Niger`s Allies like Burkina Faso,Mali and Senegal ?Also those 4 nations have a combine population of about 45 million people which is almost as may as the population of France. They could form a large army and Algeria might join them.

  12. Since 1975, ECOWAS has maintained a deliberate state of 'instability' and subservience to the IMF and World Bank, in order that West African nations, remain weak in the face of massive exploitation by France, Britain, the USA and their Western Allies. Today, the 'de-colonization' and 'de-Dollarization' process, is gathering momentum.

  13. Bottom line is black countries aren’t able to run themselves. They need the west to show them how to be civilized. Left on their own they crumble into waring tribes, África has been like that for hundreds of years

  14. Point of correction, the Nigerian army isn't the strongest in Africa.
Nigeria isn't able to fix her insecurity challenges and you say they are the strongest? How or what criteria do you use for grading?

  15. If ECOWAS cannot handle this coup, they may aswell dissolve the trade bloc and request UN peace keeping forces when situations like this arise. This crises has shown ECOWAS up for being yet another toothless paper arrangement
