Chris Stuckmann reviews Anaconda, starring Jennifer Lopez, Ice Cube, Jon Voight, Eric Stoltz, Jonathan Hyde, Owen Wilson, Kari Wuhrer, Vincent Castellanos, Danny Trejo. Directed by Luis Llosa.
I remember going to watch this in the theater with my pops and little brother. I was obsessed with drawing snakes. I was hyped for this from the promo on tv and I wasn’t disappointed. Core memory for sure. Still gets 👍👍
“I should preface this by saying, I’m a HUGE (insert director, actor, franchise, or character here) fan. I basically grew up watching these films and they always had a profound impact on me as a child. Without them I would probably not be in the position I am today”
The people did the snake here also did the marlin from A Perfect Storm and the sharks from Deep Blue Sea. Good family friend was one of the main folks for the animatronics.
I remember making video tapes of movies! You could fit 3 movies on one 6 hour tape if you weren't worried about silly things like quality! Of course you had to pause to edit out the commercials. The annoying thing was the VCR would stay in pause mode for only 5 minutes to prevent the heads overheating and damaging the tape. So naturally every commercial break was just OVER 5 minutes! 😡
I think my older sister and I watched this movie on pay per view when my parents went out one night when we were teens. I am not a horror movie fan but animal monster movies and disaster movies are just nostalgic for me and there were just so many in the 90's and early 2000's. This movie is not a good movie but it is definitely a fun movie.
I was 10 when I saw it in the theater with my dad and loved it and then begged cinema manager for the poster which i hung on my wooden wall alongside other posters.😂😂
I first saw it in a movie theater when I was 14 and was like "This is stupid. I LOVE IT!" Flash forward to last year when I saw it again for the first time since forever and was like "This is stupid. I LOVE IT!!!" Some things never change.

This movie made me afraid of snakes esp in rainforest
Love how Ice Cube’s very first line in this film is literally the title of his hit song “It’s A Good Day.” 😂 This movie is so unserious!

Rookie mistake. You pause the recording instead of stop. It makes the recording flow better.
You couldn't find a different movie to review
Sooooo why isn't it a good movie?

I love Deep Rising too! 😅
Honestly.
Those scores are accurate. But unfair.
I would give Anaconda a score of 3 out of 10 if you asked me if it was good. Did I like it? I loved it.
The two flaws to this movie is Jon Voight was more scary than the snake and the waterfall was going upwards.
Another classic 90s film that stayed on repeat in my house growing up
Got it for free, even then I was ripped off. 😂
"Anaconda"(1997) is a good enough Natural horror movie! This is a well made and underrated movie!
I know this movie line for line lol 😂

I mean who wouldn't want to eat Jennifer Lopez?😂😂😂

One of my favorite guilty pleasures.
My all time favorite Final Girl movie
It must have something to do with diddy
Chris is 2 years older than me

'If I had a dick, this is where I'd tell you to suck it!' Oh wait, that's the wrong 90's monster movie …
I love this film and I’ll defend it no matter what. It achieved what it set out to be.
