Man I wish Epic games made their launcher better, I still have to change my settings everytime I open the application and occasionally sign in every single time.
System Shock isn't available on PS5 yet…sadly.

Plenty of these games are available in Gamepass. For those unable to decide on those, and with the means to do it you can get game pass for a month and try them first.

BG3 and Alan Wake 2 are my contenders for GOTY and while I really liked the beta I'm not sure Rogue Trader will be able to steal it. I'm definitely going to play it because I want to see where they are going to take the actual story and to see how trading and voidship combat works (I didn't play far enough into the beta for either of those to come up because I wanted to wait for the full release).
I was so excited for Lamplighters League and then so disappointed with it, especially considering their track record with the Shadowrun games. I love the premise and art/design style as heroic pulp is one of my favourite genres but once you had played a few missions, it was just so samey. New enemies didn't really add anything to it.
On the other hand, Miasma Chronicles did everything right, I thought. It was harder than LL but much more compelling.
I wish it was as good a year for game developers. 🙁 6,000 more layoffs than last year, so far. Sucks.

I've been meaning to pick up that System Shock game, Prey 2017 introduced me to that genre and I've been dying for something like it.
Are any of these games worth picking up over Elden Ring??
Just a tip, I wish you would have sorted it by games in the timeline. It felt a bit discombobulated only broken out by genres. Anyways, thanks for the video and all the reviews.
