Epcot just proves that Walt didn’t just want to entertain children. He wanted to inspire everyone of all ages. A man ahead of his time for sure. Today’s Walt Disney Company wouldn’t be brave enough to build a place like Epcot
Love watching your videos I was in the air from LA to Orlando on the first but I went yesterday Sunday I love Epcot love Epcot merch sizes were sold out some of the bigger sizes but I got a cool pin I’m here for a week hopefully I’ll bump into you somewhere Adam you’re such a cool guy. Love to see Brickey with you.
I really enjoyed that you showed photos of historical material that you found at that awesome library. I hoped there would be a museum of the history of EPCOT or some type of through the years exhibit. Also thought there might be an unveiling ceremony for the "Walt the Dreamer" statue.
We were married on 10/2/82 and spent our honeymoon at Disney. Wanted to spend our 40th there this year, but the hurricane deterred us. Hopefully will come down in a couple of months. Don’t want to miss the celebration.
Adam Pepsi and Coke were sold at both WDW and EPCOT until 1990. Then it was just Coke after that. The Country Bear Jamboree was sponsored by Frito Lay back then also.
Sorry to be a Debby Downer Adam, BUT miss your other than WDW material and have moved on. I'll be back when you leave WD…they're not the good company you portray and you know that.
My family and I went to Disney World in 1983 so we would of seen Epcot in its second year open. I really enjoyed going to both Epcot and the Magic Kingdom. We did comeback to Disney to see the opening of then MGM Studios and in 2015 went to Animal Kingdom. Also went to a former waterpark called River Country. Its no longer open but had fun at this waterpark when it was. Had fun at all of the Disney properties. Glad you all do as well.
Be honest. Are you, like me, a bit bummed out that EPCOT didn't end up being the Experimental Prototype, City of Tomorrow thst Walt had envisioned? Or are you fine w/it being just another park? I mean, how much more awesome would it be if it were BOTH, a park & a community where the people who work & play at EPCOT also lived there?
Im with Brickie. I love those rides but my motion sickness is no joke. The motion sickness patch works great Brickie for rides and deep sea fishing as well . It’s worth the money brother.
I tried to keep Spaceship Earth a secret before taking my kids down to the Park.. Then my wife ruined the surprise because she was so excited she was already ‘in the know!’ 😒 blurted it out! LOL
Hi Adam this has reminded me that I first went to Disney and Epcot in October 1982 and I still have an Epcot grey 3/4 tank top and also a sleeveless hooded T-shirt from Kennedy space Center came up from Miami for 3 days on our holiday from the uk 🇬🇧
I saw you there, I was right next to you when you took a big group photo in front of the water with all the epcot 40th anniversary signs in the back by the Italy section. I was gonna say Hi but didn't want to bother you since you looked so busy so I will say it here HI! lol it was so nice seeing you. 🙂
Lordy. The WDIZ ad and Burdines. 😂. That was old school Orlando. Spent many hours listening to WDIZ and walking through Orlando Fashion Square. Fun look.
Looked boring. Lol. But I love figment.

Killing me with the Disney stuff

My masters thesis on art education talks about spaceship earth and Walt’s vision
It's a "figment" of your imagination.

I will be there in a couple of weeks, can't wait!!!
The hot coffee under the mister was classic! Very funny… but personally it is an iced coffee for me on hot days (or iced tea)
First thing I thought of when I saw that large pin was it looked like a wrestling belt! 😆

lol burdines- loved the clouds that were painted on the ceiling. The pics you have of all the nostalgia is awesome, love that stuff!
How did Bricky do on Guardians???
It’s a great day and all but with massive lines for a cup o fee. Kinda ruins the day. Cool pins though
Yes I really like the Be early potion

What I would like to know is did you hear any of the original Epcot main entrance theme music?
For a minute I thought that symbol was Hydra ( from the Captain America films including Winter Soldier. My fave).
Brickey bombing with the no Sponge cake was the best.

I don’t understand why Disney World can be SO packed, but yet you need to make park reservations! 🤔
Nice video thanks for sharing !

I LOVE me some Epcot! ❤❤❤❤❤
