In this episode of the Isla project, we discuss the various life forms which inhabit Islas marine sand plains, and explore how they connect to one another through a basic ecological food web.

Just so people know, evolution isn't real
Great work!
wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo isla is back!!!!!!!!!
The Return of the King!
Look who's back !!!!!!
So glad to see a return!!
Yes! I was waiting for this 😀
YESSS!!! I'm hyped for more Isla
I'd forgotten how much I love this type of speculative evolution shit
HES BACK
these videos are always so high quality i don't know how you do it.
these are some of the most creative oceans I've seen, I will probably get a lot of inspiration for my own water areas in planets, excited for more!
It's nice to have another high quality spec evo project in the world, it feels like there are so few some times.
The Isla Project finally returns, YES!
Spec evo/ bio is such an amazing genre made even better by people like The Isla Project. Cant wait to see more
Oh nice, cool to see a whole ecosystem explored. Really gives a feel of what it would be like to visit this biome. Interesting to see a species with group hunting and play, I find myself make comparisons to cetaceans, though I suspect that is simplifying things too much. Also, the eel worms have grown on me since last time. I think I like their clade now.
Really love where the direction of this project is taking with all the breathtaking shots and dynamic interactions.
Great video, as always! So how does the kinetosynthesis work, like on a microscopic level? also just a suggestion, you could maybe make like a discord server for this project.
Please make more episodes and never stop!!! I love Spec evo so much!
This is a really good project
Good Video.
Very highly Details Art and Information.
Cant wait for next episode.
Thank God (I mean science). I’ve been stuck in the hospital and re-watching several great science videos, and I was just getting to this channel and I saw that the last video hadn’t been up for a long time and I couldn’t find any updates anywhere. I thought the creator might’ve moved on to other things, and then just today if this video releases and that’s fantastic timing!
Question here on Isla. Given how Project Rose and a Worldbuilding Pie have worlds that generally have the dayside be very much habitable and wet, with vast oceans on the dayside and and the tropical-wet subsolar point, why didn’t you follow with this for Isla?
he's back!
I love these videos so much. The can combine a sense of order with crazy forms and as a result is one of the few alien biosphere projects that truly feel alien
Looking forward to hearing about kinetosynthetic life!
Ever since you mentioned it in the first video
AYYY WE BACK BOYS
holy shit, he's posted
Fantastic!
Absolutely fantastic! Your project just keeps getting better and better
man, i love this series
Could you elaborate on reworked map of the planet?
Fantastic work, very inspiring. I was wondering whta software do you use to draw and how did you learn this style ? I bet you made the planet locked like this just to draw beautiful skies lol
Maybe curious archive will cover this project?
When I saw that fish in the last episode, I would have never expected it to have a cousin that hops like a kangaroo.
highly underrated series.
I would love diving in those oceans
Can you do a biome spotlight ox the rainforest equivalent?
I can’t believe I didn’t turn my notifications on! I’m hyped for this!
These creatures are beautiful, but what about adding more different colors to them? %)
Also there could be something with wide bristly appendages to filter plankton.
This is a wonderfull and original biome. You are one of the best speculative evolution youtubers :).
As a sidenote: Deviantart has locked almost all of the artwork for this project as mature content. I am pretty sure that this should not be the case.
will there ever be intelligent life on Isla? Like, something intelligent enough to use tools and maybe use some sort of primative speech?
