Just started watching Feel Good Fridays and these stories truly warm my heart๐ Thank you Officer for not only protecting the community but also I'm pretty sure the Porcupine appreciates you as well! You deserve to be acknowledged for your act of kindness.
I came to this comment section looking for comments on the officerโs experience with prickly situations, and dealing with prick-ly people. I mean, did he ask the porcupine โhave you anything in your pockets that is going to prick me.โ
The media is usually full of stories about bad cops so it is always good to see a story about the good ones. Thanks for sharing this officer with us, Nate. Clearly a nice guy just wanting to serve his community, in uniform or off duty.
Wonderful story I do have one additive-the stress that sweet animal went thru and no water for who knows how long, or if there was any water near where you let it out. Please next time you release one put out a shallow dish of water and it will come for it later. This off duty offficer, his son & sons friends indeed do good deeds for these living sweet creatures-thanx guys you All rock. Thank you Nate, EIN & Ashley Furniture for recognizing good people doing good things.
Thank you for helping the porcupine.I am so glad you brought it somewhere safe.I grew up in Northern Minnesota and there are lots of porcupines and unfortunately our dogs did get them quills in there face it was hard to see but the dogs survived it was hard to see them taking them out.I am sure it hurt. They sure we're happy when they were removed.Nobody ever harmed the porcupines that I ever heard or seen.I am such an animal lover. We used to see them in the trees all the time. I can't remember if they had nests or not.Good story Nate.I feel like I really know him..I just started watching the Lori Daybell case on July 31st for the first time. That was going down a rabbit hole to get the whole story.Nate did an excellent job.I don't want to talk about that right now and ruin such a great story of this wonderful Officer and his sons.Great story thank you.

What a good guy!! Thank you for not killing him โค
Humane rescue rewarded…bless everyone involved!
Turn the music down while Nate and officer were speaking, music is overwhelming ๐
Wonderful story!
PLEASE get rid of the unnecessary, annoying, distracting music!
Very sweet guy. โค
I love your videos but the music playing while people try to hear whats being said is annoying!!

Background noise is so loud n annoying tryng to listen. Anyone have an animal trapped so long in the heat should think of getting it water first.
No idea there were porcupines in your neck of the woods. Glad it was captured and released elsewhere.
Why add awful "Muzak" when the reporter is outside? I ditched this annoying video quickly!

Thank you, Officer, for not harming the porcupine. These animals are just trying to survive as more and more of their habitat is being encroached on.
See folks ๐ฎโโ๏ธ are good people still watching from Elizabethtown Pa ๐๐. I love these stories
