  1. If there's zero chance of going back to the universe you came from, then surely the universe of suffering is the one to choose. Because you know that eventually it would be over; bliss would come, and it would be blissful forever. Right? 🤔

  2. You just described the real world, heaven and hell. It would be better to live in the agony with the hope of eternal bliss. The best scenario would be to attempt achieving a heaven on earth with the hope of eternal bliss afterwards . For a God fearing person I believe this to be the natural order that was intended. It will be our oun destiny to choose how we will live today and by God's grace will determine our eternal condition.

  3. If one never knows bliss then how can they truly suffer? There’s nothing you can take away after a certain point it’s homeostasis anyway plus he would always have infinite hope

  4. A better universe: infinite immortals, suffering moderately, with most moving into eternal bliss. But, every day, a space in the land of eternal suffering is opened up for people who play music on their phone's speaker on public transport.

  5. You leave open a fundamental question:

Let A be the set of people in the initial universe and
    f : |N -> A
be an injective funktion, where on the day j the human f(j) is send to the other universe.

Is f surjective? ( A must be countable)

This is important, because otherwise there are people that will never change universes. It's also important to know, if A is countable at all. Who would care about a lebesgue null set of people suffering for all eternity in this senario? Not me.

    Edit:
    On seconds though, if
#(Arange f)<infi it would still be better, If the people start in the "universe of suffering".

If you disagree with me, you are ether bad at ethics or math.

  6. Happiness if a function of what is expected vs what is experienced, meaning any infinite unchanging existence becomes torture for the human mind before it ever really becomes infinite.
In either of these universes, there is a 100% chance of being tortured for eternity.

  7. In order for me to provide a sensible, foolproof answer and logical argument, I will need to drink to excess, probably smoke some substance, be in a totally relaxed state, and then watch this video again. My brain will then be at optimal condition to provide the answer and its irrefutable reasons. I'll do it tomorrow after pay day.

  8. If you live forever, time would be meaningless and wouldn’t exist. Therefore you would be in both universes simultaneously and also in neither universe. It would all happen at the same “time”.

  9. I mean i know I'm immortal but will still be me after enduring the suffering for so long? What exactly does bliss mean? Maybe simply losing my mind and no longer be able to feel the suffering is a bliss in it's own way 🤔

  10. statistically it is possible to never go to the other universe. If there is an infinite number of people, then by definition you could never get through them all

  11. In my experience I would say both of the universes are equal and purely codependent and here is my reasoning for a universe of pure bliss you need true suffer a fate worse than death to for true suffering a far worse than death you need to have known true bliss so both universes are needed to keep the cycle perpetually infinite they need each other so the suffering can still suffer and the joyful and blissful and still be in pure ecstasy from the freedom of suffering

  12. The universe is, they might be linked so if you come in the one that’s filled with hope you might be transported to the one and then one day you might be transferred back to the one suffering

  13. That means 1=0 if its infinite it couod be that infinitely a human is born in that universe and each day one dissapears. So its like a loop. Since infinity never ends there must be new people born everyday.
