  2. By May 15th 1942, Japanese Intelligence should have advised their superiors, "Stop the war with America! We were wrong! Americans are not soft! They WILL fight! They fought us to a draw in the Coral Sea! American movie stars are volunteering to fight: army, navy, marines! They have eight times the industrial capacity and fighting men capacity that we do. These are conservative estimates! Again, stop the war!"
