Definitely one of the most angelic voices on the planet… Maybe you could react to Amira's rendition of Ave Maria by William Gomez in Canisius Church, Nijmegen, The Netherlands (the town where she lived until 2018). It's an absolute masterpiece…
Great reaction, Ruiz! Subscribed. You may have confused it with the age of your children, but Thomas wrote that she learned on her own from the age of 6 to 9, not from 3 to 6. It was spontaneous on her part, watching the great divas of the past on YouTube and singing along with them without difficulty. Amira's family (father, mother and brother) play musical instruments in small competitions, but her maternal grandfather was a serious opera tenor. There was no pressure. It was at the age of 9 that Amira won Holland's Got Talent, not a “Kids” competition. By the age of 12 she was already an international superstar with several awards and a gold record on the prestigious and exclusive Sony Masterworks label, which is reserved for the best in classical music. She currently has two diamonds, two platinum and two gold records.
She has always had the best voice, to me.
It was actually Amira herself from 6 years old on who taught herself learning from YouTube. Her brother Fincent 2 years older than was her partner in transcribing, translating, and helping her to learn the pronunciation of songs in languages they didn't speak..
I recall some disparaging comments after her stunning audition for Holland's Got Talent about some of her pronunciation singing
O Mio Babino Caro. … but come on… a 9 year old and a 7 year old transcribing, translating and figuring out the pronunciation..and then Amira remembering how to sing all that.. I don't speak Italian but others who did were more complementary about it!

I suggest you learn a litle more about Amira's beginning,it really was unique
She found success and presenteted herself to the world with NO singing lessons and no push by her parents
Amira was in fact restricted by her parents from displaying her talents at even younger age
There is a story of Amira and that story can seem unbelievable but be warned she did it all herself and her angelic tones can certainly become addictive to the soul
I’ll forgive you for being wrong, because you are dead wrong on a couple of points. Firstly, as Thomas explained, she taught herself by watching uTube videos, and her Mother actually said that she has to do this by herself as she (mother) can’t sing & therefore cannot help her & Amira went to HGT without a single lesson. Secondly, her parents were very wise & ensured that schooling came first & NEVER was Amira put under any pressure to perform. In fact, she understands that she was given a gift from God & would rather sing to a handful of people who couldn’t afford tickets, than to sing to an auditorium of thousands.
The family have very firm religious beliefs and live their life accordingly, by being humble & helping others. Amira herself formed a Foundation/Charity at the age of 9 to supply less fortunate schools with playground equipment & to date ,I believe, some 23 schools have been supplied with such equipment. Amira gives 50 percent of all her earnings to the Foundation.
This is hardly touching the sides of Amira’s fascinating journey, so I hope you continue with your Reactions as you will be absolutely amazed & wondrous at our worldly treasure.

You might enjoy some of the biographical videos relating to Amira. Although her favourite genre is opera, she sings classic crossover (as this one), musicals, hymns, etc. Her first big audience was with Andre Rieu, singing O Mio Babbino Caro (12,500). She sang Nessun Dorma in South Africa (CIG 2016), and at the same concert, The Flower Duet, with Corlea Botha. Recently she was invited to HGT All Stars, to sing on the stage where it all began (aged 9). Amira sang the aria Ebben? Ne Andro Lontana. The best recording is the full segment, which includes the panel's comments and a biographical sketch.
