  1. Many Europeans criticize the US for building houses from wood. They seem to equate tornados with a strong with storm and believe that brick houses would do better. Then ignore when shown brick building partially or completely collapse in a tornado

  2. Hi Kabir, l live in Tornado Alley, in Texas. I remember the Barrel tornado. It even ripped up the pavement and left nothing but dirt; no grass, no trees, no houses–nothing!
I've been lucky enough to have seen four tornadoes without getting hurt. They're a real trip to watch, but one time I was pinned to a tree and pelted with mud and debris. Only got a few bruises though.
Generally, your homeowners insurance covers everything. You don't need special tornado insurance.

  3. My aunt died in the Joplin tornado, simply because she did not take the warning seriously. Tornadoes are deadly and warnings are not to be taken lightly. If you hear that siren, take cover right away. It could literally save your life.

  4. I am from Georgetown, Texas just 10 miles south of Jerrell. We were able to get on our roofs and see the debris from the tornado. One of my friends lost their farm, thankfully they had a cellar.

  5. If you like scary drive's🎉 just drive. From kansas City. To Denver😮 Kansas Plains can be very dangerous. Look at a map. I 70 KC to Denver will 400 miles of flat land. Endless sky's. Love hate relationship.

  6. Our homes are made of wood, and wood/brick. We don’t have steel beams in homes. A tornado can pick up a train car and toss it around like a toy; the steel beams wouldn’t stop the tornado, and if it’s an F-5? The beams would fly.

  7. Hate that this is the tornado video people react to. He does a tremendously poor job of communicating the extent of the damage of such tornadoes. You should react to the Clem Schulz Rochelle-Fairdale tornado video instead. Only video that shows a direct hit from a violent tornado
