  1. When I moved to Sacramento I got a job on the block where he lived. I visited all those areas where he committed the crimes. One of those houses was torn down. The apartments where he lived, the “Country Club Apartments” are still there next to the Arden Bowling off of Watt Ave. The trash dumpster where they found the baby is the church parking lot which is also still there on the corner of Watt and Marconi. Creepy stuff 😐

  2. I doubt the code near his body can even be translated into anything, perhaps he wouldn't have even been able to translate it into anything. I think it's most likely partially or all gibberish. Of course that's just my assumptions and guess based on having never seen the code before or having any real experience with codebreaking.

  3. Chase is not even close to the most evil. He was a boy scout compared to guys like Dean Corll ("The Candyman.")

Corll paid a teenager to bring him younger boys, at least 28 of them. He would then SA and torture them endlessly, sometimes for weeks. The boys would beg for death before he was bored with them, ended their suffering, and had a fresh boy delivered.

  4. This guy was Dahmer before Dahmer was on the scene. Not so many people know about Richard Trenton Chase and how despicable of a monster he was. FBI Profiler John Douglas said in his books that Chase was perhaps the only killer he ever encountered that was actually criminally insane.

  5. Possibly the most frightening serial killer case ever… I can't begin to imagine the trauma for the cops discovering these crime scenes! There are a lot of disgusting details left out of this video, for obvious reasons… Mental illness is no joke

  6. Combination of childhood and untreated illness. Neglect and lack of knowledge of the times. But its possible even with those things intact he might of just due to his abuse of LSD. That is a strong drug to be addicted to. Explains why he doesn't recall. But bad memory could also be due to the prescriptions he was on during trial. Sad for everyone involved.
