The Ukrainian kids were amazing, not just because of the incredible artistry in their act, but also because they proved that they are as resilient as their parents. They are the winter patriots of their country.
PS I donate $50/month plus occasional one-time donations to relief organizations (verified by myself and others as real, not a swindle: you have to be careful) towards feeding Ukrainian refugees and those made homeless from the was. I also call out the supposedly "patriotic" Americans on YouTube and FaceBook who constantly parrot the Fox and OAN propaganda that comes directly from the Kremlin and asserts that, somehow, Russia is the victim in all the atrocities and destruction it's armies are wrecking on Ukraine.

Howie did the right thing. Golden buzzer rightly deserved to Light Balanced Kids. Howie always has some profound comments to the contestants which I admire him the most to be the judge.
