Any trainer that continues to race a horse that is 9 years old is only in for the money and should be charged with abuse. NO RACEHORSE SHOULD BE FORCED TO RACE BEYOND 8 YEARS OLD NONE. I have NONE respect for trainers like Miceli. 41 races this horse has ran and sometimes every 10 days at 8 years old. DISGUSTING AND SHOULD BE OUTLAWED. This horse should be retired but NO, this trainer will continue to squeeze every last buck from this poor horse until he turns 10.
A trainer who runs a horse that shows blood coming from nose and never lets her rest is despicable. Ferrero running this horse every 10 days is deplorable and should be charged with abuse. WHY DO RACETRACKS CONTINUE TO CONDONE ABUSE OF HORSES. Cancel was whipping this horse even though she had no chance of finishing in the money. Unless Aqueduct cleans up their act and start putting horses FIRST abuse will continue. As of July 1st, all jockeys riding at U.S. tracks will be restricted to whipping a horse overhanded no more than six times during a race, with a pause after each two hits to give the horse a chance to respond. I HAVE COUNTED MORE THAN THIS SEVERAL TIMES AND JOCKEYS SHOULD BE FINED AND HUGE.
