American Truck Simulator is a game about being a courier in the Mojave. Hang on, that sounds somehow familiar…

Right hand traffic in the US came about literally just to stick it to the British after the Revolution.
Jon cosplaying a blue collar worker is always amusing 😂
Wait…this is AMERICAN Truck Simulator, and yet they spell the irrefutably correct American “Tires” as the red coat abomination that is the British “Tyres”?! 0/10, worst game of the year.
I am 100% here for a Many A True Truck livestream, with co-driver Claire.
Jon getting so excited over seeing the monorail that he just blows through the red light is absolutely perfect.
I'm not convinced that Jon does know how to drive
You're a very skillful gamer, and I love the diversity of games you play, but . . . Please don't come near me on the road. We won't get on 😉
Amazing video Jon! Love your take on simulators, I don't think I could play one, but damn you don't half make them entertaining. More please
I’d love to see Jon do a road trip across America with Matt and Dan
The fact you have a real licence scares me….
In today's episode Jon isn't an egg carton, he's a jackknife.
British driver on US roads for the first time is so funny.
let’s see if this ends up being a no kill run, for some reason i doubt it
The only reason I bought my big fuss about nothing AKA PC. was Rome Total War and Euro Truck Sim 2. I put LOTR audio books on and drive from Britain to Russia and back. The American one will put you to sleep it's all straight roads.
I did enjoy this
They called him Big Jon, as he passed through chasing carnage across the Mojave delivering essential supplies to those that can trawl the ditches. Some say he is a legend, others a myth. One thing is sure though… he's a bloody menace!
As a former truck driver, I expected there might be some wrinkles here: and Jon, you did not disappoint. 10/10, would absolutely pay you to drive for any one of my competitors.
As I think about it, I realize that I have just answered the question all those years ago, playing the original GTA: "Who in the WORLD is paying these 'insane stunt bonuses'?"
You can use 2 lanes to turn, not 3, and indicating helps.
Also, Americans can turn right on a red light, when it is safe to do so.
It kills a lot of pedestrians, but its good for cars and one of the major complaints about red light cameras.
Watching Jon driving makes me feel like I'm watching horror. Also, knowing that Jon has a driving license makes me scared of ever vising the UK.
Watching you play this was one of the better sources on entertainment I’ve had in a long time. Please play this more ❤️
Truck longum, vita brevis est.
What's a "Lorry", how can a car have "wings", and who would want a "boot" in the rear?
Gonna be nerding out a bit since AZ is my home state and just posting thoughts:
5:30 Jon the wonderful (terrible) thing about driving in the us is that you can turn right on red in most states
10:34 it is….actually astounding how accurate they got the view of that route, holy shit
How to comit suicide:
Get in-to a car with Jon. Your not geting out alive.
I-11 is long overdue to go from Phoenix to Vegas to Reno to Klamath Falls to Eugene.
30:40 Yeah, that's about what I'd expect someone who drives like Jon to look like.
A video of Matt, Jon and Dan all racing trucks across the Mohave. Need.
Where is the option to take methamphetamines and kill a prostitute?
What a wonderful mess <3
Cross-country roadtrip livestream!
I feel much safer driving in the US. knowing you don't Jon!! 🙂
You gave my partner a heart attack and now she is yelling at me for the next 20 minutes about proper truck driving. We are only 15 minutes into your video. Love your videos, please don't every drive a truck.
As a veteran with nearly 2,000 hours in this game… this was both hilarious and painful to watch.
Jon not knowing that we're allowed to turn right on red, to the point that he seems to think it's a bug in the game, is rather entertaining.
It's pretty high demand after Covid ..if you don't crash the shipment lol
This is my favorite game, i have over 500 hours in it. Its so hard to watch this!
I'm sad it wasn't American Jon doing the driving!
Jon: Plays Truck Simulator
Also Jon: "Do I have a truck right now"
How does it feel to drive on the right side of the road and not on the wrong… I mean on the left 😀
"Should you not just have a driver on staff" You should, Jon, yes. But trucking is one of those industries where many businesses use a model of hiring "independent contractors" and never hiring staff. That way they can demand illegally long work hours without offering benefits because those problems can technically be blamed on the "contractor" (cough: employee).
This reminds me, i was thinking off playing this with the VR mod. Jon should try that with the Euro one. Maby visit someplace he's been but in a truck… and in VR. 😀
Really enjoyed this & would love a live stream or joint vid with @Mattophobia should the mood strike you on the right day, Jon. 😉
that was just fun to see. Now you have to make a trip along route 66
Jon if you can back up a set of doubles that would be amazing 😂 A for even trying 👍
PLEASE USE YOUR MIRRORS
So, Jon. Trucking companies don't like keeping people on staff because there are legal ramifications for that. By keeping the people who drive for them under "independent contractor" status, they can bypass labor laws and treat them in ways that would be illegal for an employer/employee relationship.
jon immediately going to run over a cop car <3 direct action
Jon would have been fired, lost his CDL, and probably arrested so many times
