in this video, I hope to help answer the question as to what class you should play when getting started in New World. Though while this MMORPG uses an open class system that lets you mix and design whatever class you want based on your choices, I hope this video will help give you the information you need to know when deciding what weapons to pick, what attributes to focus on, and even what gathering trade skills benefit off your choices. It’s important to note, that there have already been a lot of changes in the Alpha as with any MMORPG more changes to come in the future

Does this game play style play is like some what of a auto attack like in FFXI and some what button smashing like in 14, seems interesting to try.
Super excited to try some weapon combos not normal.. see how they manage in the world and pvp. nice guide going thru each weapon and its skills with some insight added. thanks for the content.
Until I see just how much of an impact the various stats have, I find it hard to choose exactly what to run, last played at the preview event last year, without knowing how much stats impact health / dmg / crit, I'm leaning towards musket, rapier, pure dex, though I'd prefer to go sword and board with musket, but the stat distribution would need to be split.

New World has No Classes. Choose your Weapons and don't worry about Classes. Just PLAY. 🙂
Does anyone know if for example, Berserk would still work if i switch back to a 2H weapoin IE: Greataxe/Hammer
Would Hatched and musket be a viable build? I've been looking at builds on that site and not many have that combo.
