Amazon plane crash: Colombian military rescues children found alive after 40 days



In a remarkable feat of resilience, four Indigenous children were rescued alive from the Colombian Amazon on Friday afternoon.

Although malnourished, none of the children – aged 13, nine, four plus an 11-month-old baby – were in serious condition. Even the youngest child, who ended up spending his first birthday in the jungle.
