In the world of Altero, there was once a paladin sworn to the god of courage. She fell and was cursed forever to the Shadow Realm, forced to wear the spider form. Faevaris, the Oath Breaker, would always attempt to break free and be defeated.
These are two of her stories. One, a thousand years ago, the classic pattern of her curse, with legendary heroes of the age facing their most terrifying fears, and one, the time the curse cracked. Where, given knowledge of the past, we learn what it takes to truly be courageous.
