  1. This objective gave me such a headache considering it 'seemingly' locks you in if you walk past Junction Box 47b. To get 47a it's placed nearby Apex Electronics on the upper level behind a closed door, once you're close enough the objective changes and the waypoint updates.

  2. So, for those experimenting with ship building/purchasing, beware, there is a trap that will drive you loopy if you fall foul of it.
I bought a new ship, nice big wide open cockpit, one pilots seat and four seats around it for the crew to sit in. Which they will. Up to four people, all sitting just close enough for the game to think you want to talk to them.

I am currently flying around space with three people constantly telling me how good it is to see me, asking if I want anything, or if we are going mining, or…. Its a good job landing ships is a cutscene or I would have flown us all into the surface of the nearest planet.

Does no one at Bethesda actually test their games for more than 10 seconds? Between that and the companions insisting on walking in front of my mining laser, or refusing to use airlocks at the same time as me or… Might have to make it a lone wolf game.

  3. I can't tell you how many times I've thrown a grenade when attempting to open the map. Many, many times. I actually depleted my store of grenades at one point. Very embarassing, and at least once, painful.

  4. I know its not your first time playing, but I still gonna say it – In my opinion you need at least 100k before you going to attempt to rebuild your ship or even modify it more than just few modules or simply changing HUB type, its free if its the same hub you have already.
Another tip – dont know if you found it already but if you mouse over a connection point and press G you gonna have a list of modules which can be connected to this point, sometimes its easier than simply trying everything, especially for decorative elements, but again… wo 100k you wont do alot even for basic ship class… Yesterday I started to use B class modules and 100k was not a lot as it turns out 🙂 I think building my first C class is gonna take at least 300-400k 🙂
One more thing game doesnt tells you – double click a module = select entire ship, much easier to color it compared to a module by module… unless ofc you specifically want to color each module.
Cant wait to see first mods with new ship parts… but something tells me it wont be any time soon, its just too much work on any part with interior.

  5. I probably didn't pay enough attention, but do they not pay for electricity in the future?
Surely if there's a "power drain", it would be resolved when the location of the "drain" receives an exorbitant power bill.
Or if they can and are willing to afford the bill, then what does it matter?
