  1. I understand the motivation to remove moves from certain Mons, but I don't particularly like it.

Used to be that if you wanted certain moves on certain Pokemon, it was a challenge in itself just to get the set all in one place. Importing egg moves and breeding from one gen, teaching TMs or using tutors in another; it was a nuisance, but after the Virtual Console brought back RBY and GSC with connectivity, it meant you could have any theoretical combination of moves on a Pokemon across over 20 years of options.

Guess that should've been obvious to me the way they changed Banked/Homed moves with the Legends: Arceus update earlier this year, but Gen 9 solidifies it.

  2. Happy about the Breloom buffs. I found a Shiny Shroomish in my Scarlet game, which unfortunately didn't end up as a Technician Breloom but with those buffs I am now eager and quite excited to be honest to try out a non-Technician Breloom instead.
The change in H-Braviary was very much needed since it's a special attacker and I'm glad they fixed it so quickly and not after a whole generation or two.
Kinda ironic that they took High Horsepower away from Glastrier who is totally not a horse.
Rotom Fan still has Levitate. 😀 I know this is a consistency thing with the other Rotoms but imo they should not have Levitate in the first place except for the base form since they are fused with heavy appliances. I would love it if each got an ability to reflect their form better.

    RIP Rillaboom.

  4. hey dont you just love it when The Pokemon Comapany completely changes the way the is played and nerfs everything you love to high heavy making the game unplayable for old players, especially in the point in their history when they have over 1000 pokemon?

    I SURE FUCKIN DO!!!!

  5. My favorite buffs are Overqwil and Hisuian Goodra. They're some of my favorite Hisuian Pokémon and I was really disappointed that they didn't get good STAB. So Overqwil getting Crunch and Goodra getting Flash Cannon are very good buffs.

  6. Scald nerf is stupid idea because they shoul;d have made water types learn ice beam OR scald. That would balance stuff out.
    Also make it 5PP
My fav buff is for my bro Tropius, Trailblazer is such a solid move for it.

  7. Scald was my fav water sp atk 💔
Charizard loses Scorching Sands is painful, ground type sp atk which great weakness coverage against electric types since its part Flying.
Flareon loses Superpower, fighting phys atk, was great against its rock type weakness.
Luxray getting trailblaze, great against its ground type weakness.
Sylveon loses Mystical Fire, no steel type weakness coverage.
Rillaboom loses grassy glide, high horsepower and superpower….my fav Gen 8 starter, they stole their drum kit 💀

  8. I don't understand why they don't answer to the power/speed creep that's been going on with each passing gen. This is why I stopped playing this game competitively. I will say them nerfing stall was a good change, but prolly one of the only good changes. Why nerf mons like charizard/krook then buff pokemon that don't need it like Arceus and Rayquaza? Also I wish they'd do more stat changes as buffs/nerfs
