It’s what people like and they’re overusing it to get views and create hype, nothing more.
I think their use of the term "round based zombies" may be intended to communicate to their "DMZ zombies" fans from previous games. They want it to be very clear that this is "round based zombies".
As a casual player I will say the guided mode will be the only thing to get me to actually learn the Easter egg and preform it without guided. Also guided will only be released after a good amount of time the map is released so it won’t be there at first

I like all of the gameplay additions they've made with rarity, salvage, etc. It gives depth to the game mode. Seeing some of the old guard (not talking about Milo) belly aching (and not making up its mind whether it's too arcadey or not enough) about changes to the formula just convinces me that the hard core zombies community just doesn't like change period and doesn't interact with anyone who doesn't go as hardcore as they do.
I don't understand your position on the "guided mode". As I understand it, the mode is literally just for new players to get the hang of main EEs (weeks after the main EE is solved) so that they can participate in the next hunt. I don't think this "dumbs" down the mode or makes it any less interesting since you won't be able to do side quests or any other EEs in the mode
They should just make an option where you can just download the textures so it may use more space but you can play offline, and if you try this without the textures downloaded offline, it will just give you an error. But I doubt they would do anything remotely close to that.
Um Milo im gonna be honest i think they call it training because they follow you like a train. Or because you’re leading them around where you want them to be like you’re training them. I think no one thinks of it like the sexual term training. I think we don’t need to start that rumor 😂
I hope once the Easter egg video is released that there is plenty of time for us all to complete it and get the rewards before they release the guided mode.

The guided mode to me comes off more so as saying the story being told in BO6 Zombies is just as important as the campaign story
