Talisman or Crystal Tear ranking next?
Awesome! Very fair rating. keep going
Bayles flame lightning scales heavily with blue dancer charm and ends up working well when using it with the rock heart form as it’s already such low equip load
At least scarlet aeonua shines in this DLC. Have been putting it to use on almost every boss.
Bro, you are the only channel I will watch for Elden Ring videos at the moment. So many people are showcasing builds and items against DLC bosses, and I just don’t want to see that. Thanks for doing non-spoilers, subbed.
The dlc was cool and all, but honestly the new weapons were useless. I don’t think I changed any of my build and have to run around for a rock to make myself stronger…
The biggest issue with these incantations and sorceries that From made for the DLC is that… they are really bad for the DLC but these things SHINE in the base game. My guess is maybe they are waiting for player data to balance them out, maybe increase damage, speed and stance damage in future patches, hopefully.
according to the params of the ghostflame breath, it does more frostbite buildup than borealis.
17:55 wait a minute, Marika's body wasn't aways there while you fight Radagon, right? Did they add that in after the DLC?
2:52 what you cooking because you say it does no stagger… over a clip of it staggering melania out of an attack
Half these incants would actually be really good for pvp tho so they’re not bad incants
dogshit pissdarts pretty correctly describe the first spell 😀 😀 😀
More lightning YES!!!
They make spells for pve ? 😂 Messmers orb should have hyper armor once you launch.
is the old spels bad in new dlc??
i like fire serpent because it's just slightly faster faith magic glintblade and i love that spell
Did they nerf golden vow
Legitimately how tf am I supposed to use any of these when it takes a whole business week to cast them, at least they’re pretty tho
So they all look cool but do f all damage
One thing that hasn't changed for me personally between base game & DLC is that my top 3 favorite ways to play as (I'm max level 713, all stats 99) are still: lightning/faith, magic/int, or a bleed build with various spells or incants. Using 1-2 weapons + incants or spells (seals or staffs) with all 3 builds.
Bro gotta do a rain of fire only playtrough
Founding rain of stars is one of the best spells in the game. It melts bosses (mainly the big ones) and npc's ignore It so you can lead them into the rain.
I couldn't believe how shit rain of fire was when I tried it 😂 I thought surely I had the wrong seal on or something.. nope.. just absolutely trash
You can ride torrent against Elden Beast!? Yea that boss fights gonna be a joke now lol
Player: casts Light of Miquella
Malenia: "where did you get that"
Huh, no new blackflame incantations?
from what i understand, golden vow and dragonbolt of florissax stack together, dragonbolt doesn't stack with fire grant me strength though. It's considered as a body buff, not an aura buff.
I'm sad that the Minor Erdtree incantation is so much smaller compared to the one Melina uses. I was actually looking forward to using that 🙁
Personally I think the Aspect of the Crucible: Bloom is kinda useful against a giant crowd of people so it hits at least most of them, but why waste my time on such a long cast animation when i can just hit them with my Radahn AOW?
from soft has a really weird talent of making a shit ton of bad weapons/spells/incantations and then just do nothing about it
i wonder what the point of it is. buff this stuff lol
They were afraid to over tune anything, so they under tuned everything.
Vast majority of them either lack in damage or in literally any amount of hyper armor
for 70 faith and 2 spell slots, I should be damn near invincible across the arena for 30 seconds
Price question.. does the electric charge proc bleed? >:)
I feel ALOT of these will get touched in balance patches
I agree qith most of your takes, but the spells look cool so youre wrong actually
Is it me or this guy talks like the shrimp in that episode of Smiling friends?
I miss when games would go like 'dude this spell is so cute you throw butterflies that to BOOOOM, so nice!'
Now it's like 'ok this does not equal to the damage of the other spell, iframes this, stance damage, status effect yada yada and out of nowhere a comment: WHY DO THEY DO THE VISUALS IF THE SPELL IS USELESS(?????).
Maybe I don't know, play the game, enjoy it and have fun being bad at it instead of studying it, analysing each and everything in order to just think about whats the better. Its like the devs put so much soul into it and people nowadays are just studying and analysing every single aspect of the game like they would be admitted at an university.
Just plant a small tree and spam pink butterflies while running naked, dude, what could be cooler than that?
That’s what I hate about elden ring; quantity over quality. People will never use 99% of the weapons/spells/incantations/crafting materials in their inventory, not to mention not having infinite respecs so you can’t even experiment freely. Zelda totk pretty much mastered this issue that plagues open world games, I hope more games adopt that approach
Some of these incantations do really well against enemies who are week to that damage type. Just saying
It would be nice if Light of Miquella did 1.5x more damage than it does.
I wish from take this one note from lords of the fallen and make ranged stuff strong
They fumbled the bag incredibly hard with these incantations
Hey man, it's pronounced like "Ans-back" not Like "Ans-batch" just FYI
Electrocharge seems like lightning stake and storm miracle from DS3. Lightning stake is cast near and storm is cast like honed bolt and above you to do aoe damage not DPS. Electrocharge seems like its to be cast near enemies to do splash damage not DPS similar to lightning storm in ds3.
I wonder if there's a way to make spiral work on the bosses that stand still for long stretches. Malenia phase 2, mogh, godrick stands still a lot when he does his roar. Spiral should work like comet azur. You'd probably have to debuff them all with sword of darkness to knock off their holy resistance
