There is too much "Hollywood" in this video. If these aliens would attack us after watching us for centuries only one question remains, Why now ? And not 100 years ago, back then no nuclear weapons or any other weapons of mass destruction did exist.

An alien invasion is a possibility that must be considered. However one may think that civilizations that have existed much longer than us ( as the universe could be 14 billion years old ) would have worked out technically by far most of the problems of energy sources etc. and will have never considered wiping out another planer for its exploitation as it would not be necessary and perhaps too much trouble.. However the best candidates for a pirating civilization would be between 2 planets close to each other where the "criminal" planet has just learned to travel short distances with a technology just advanced enough to do so.
