edit: one thing that kept creeping up in my mind when listening -> how come these dormant warships, who nobody was able to control, suddenly have crew onboard! (how did they get there in that timeframe) that know how to handle the ship? To me, it would have made more sense that these ancient relics posessed some powerful AI systems (similar to warhammer 40K perhaps, with the dark age of technology) that would have engaged the enemy on their own (with some commands from a command-center on Earth)
