Humanity, oppressed by the Galactic Empire, covertly constructs the Invictus, a supercarrier, to resist their tyrannical rule. Led by Captain Alexander Hayes and scientist Dr. Emilia Sato, they wage a clandestine war, culminating in the Invictus destroying the Imperial capital planet. Despite the sacrifice of the Invictus and Captain Hayes, Earth survives, forging new alliances and rebuilding. The legacy of their defiance reverberates across the galaxy, serving as a cautionary tale for those who would underestimate humanity’s resilience and determination.

  1. The narration of the story is superb.

    However.

There are a few fundamentally wrong things in this story. This I have noted is also a recurring theme in the stories in this channel. Single ship, whether is the last or the first taking on an entire Empire. Its just… not reasonable. If you said it is a small team, maybe. Stuff like this keeps wringing me out of the immersion. Not the only thing but the most common thing across the catalogue of stories here.

  2. The only problem with the human super Carrier. They don't build 1 neighborhood 12. No matter what size it is, build 12 of them. All these that's denied states of America in the United States of America's gonna have their advantage over any other country. In space century at 6 space company's building spaceships on eaothers, as is in 2024 a few of them were gonna fail. But most of them are gonna make it into space and a hand musk is gonna have the most powerful space x.

  3. How would one go about starting a profession in narration or books on "tape"? I have a feeling that I would be pretty good at it with a little help. I spent six months in jail when I was younger, and the one thing that made me liked and respected by everyone, was I read to them at night from a children's book series called, "Hank the Cowdog" The whole pod would get real quiet so the "white boy" could read to them. For some people, my nightly stories, are what kept them from getting into trouble. They gave me snacks, protected me like I was part of their family. Ever since then, the thought of doing that for a job, really stuck with me. So, please tell me anything you think I should know, about voice acting.🙏

  5. So few of the writers of these YT SciFi stories pay any attention to the golden rule of writing: show, dont tell.
It s all a long, tedious description, not a story.
Try a less affected, less grandiloquent language, and try not just informing what is, but making it happen.

  6. How would I have planned this?
To start with, I'd plan for Earth to lose. To do that, I would have humans sneak off to the uncharted sectors, taking the sum total of all human knowledge in each group. Thus humanity would survive.
I'd have fortified the hell out of the sol system, because you KNOW they'll be coming. Orbital defenses to take out incoming missles and other weapon fire. Hiding traps in the Ort cloud and asteroid belts and moons. Stealth munitions. Nothing like dropping an unseen nuke in the middle of a fleet. Have them so afraid to enter the system that they will stand WAAAAAAY the eff off to launch asteroids and munitions down the gravity well.
If they are committed enough to our obliteration, there would be nothing we could do to stop them. But if we could make it expensive enough, they might decide we are a tiny backwater at the edge of the galaxy and just leave a picket of ships to make sure we don't leave the system again.
Worst case, the colonies you established would recreate human civilization in a few hundred years.
The strike on the galactic center should destabilize the empire enough for the subjugated races to rip it apart. Death by a billion cuts. If they crewed their starships with subjugated races, you could guarantee a civil war.
So, Humanity would survive. Either it would re-emerge in hundreds of years from many times many colonies or it would survive the initial retaliation and build a fleet that could break the blockade and take the battle into the stars once more.
    .
Either way, Humanity would survive and the Galactic Empire would be no more.

  7. WTF!? So they built a very large, slow, hard to turn ship for hit and run attacks? And they only built ONE? Seriously? They have a weapon that can crack a planet and they are just not going to use it after the one time? "OMG! We're being attacked by a grand fleet! Earth is about to be destroyed. Quick, instead of fighting until the end and taking out as many ships as possible, let's just ram one of their ship. YAY! We going to take one out! Surely the other 100's of ships attacking will be cowed into defeat!"

  8. LOL, Humanity is a dangerous nutter… a school shooter in the making, in whole;
you'll never take our self-righteousness and right to destroy everything we disagree with.
We are space nazis in the making. That is our WHOLE history.

The oddest thing was how humanity send out one ship to take an empire on. Defense? Nah, one suicide bomber essentially.
The second oddest thing… we did not use to power vacuum to make our own equally overbearing empire? Unreasonably unrealistic for humanity so far.

That said, nice story. Deserved up-doots.

  10. It seems unlikely one ship could defeat an entire galactic empire. It reminds me of the Liberator from Blake's 7. They knew they would need allies, which Blake and later Avon would try to entice. In this story, this first ship would realistically only be able to do gruella hit-and-run raids, not unlike how this story was having it do at first. To take it to the level of actually defeating the empire, they've have to build many more, and at least a few hidden bases of operation. Basically, it'd be like star wars without the Force.
