Actually, what they used is nothing more than a glorified sandblaster. At 1000th the speed of light. That's 3600 miles per second. Definitely faster than a speeding bullet. The ever loving PPC (particle projectile cannon).

Just before the Dassari engaged the Implax, with the Dassari singing of their impending Death, the High Dassari Admiral hears a radar technician shout "an impossibly small ship is dropping out of Hyperspace and it has a Sonorous Signature!. Our Computer Data Base says the Signature is an ancient Human War Cry, " Ritt der Walküren". The 2 Vinder Long vessel is barely big enough to contain even a single Human ! At that moment, a voice crackled over the comm, "sorry I am late, but I will take out the Implax trash now. I only need the derbis of their ships for our scrap yards; Oss-kaar de'Grouchus Captain of the Terran Trash Collection Authority Ship GALACTIC COMPLACTOR out !". To the amazement of the Dassari and their allies, Commander Oss-kaar de'Grouchus's single tiny ship deployed an impossibly large funnel emblazoned with the words "GALACTICUS INSINKERATOTIUS" . Approaching the massed Implax Armada, the GALACTIC COMPLACTOR proceeded to swallow up all the Implax vessels leaving nothing behind !
Only one small criticism. Voice AI is much better. But, initial image does not track whatsoever with the story ! Please fix !
"Dust guns" are a very real weapon concept. No exotic particles needed. It uses electrostatic charges to accelerate tiny particles to STUPID velocities. The channel Spacedock did a video about them some time back.
