One of the stellar stupid story created to waste our time.
at first listening to these kinds of stories was very entertaining at surface level. but after hearing so many now when i hear them I begin thinking, what does the design of these charactures say about how the write views humanity and maybe themselves. will this be a power trip story in which they quell feelings of inadequacy through making the humans unstoppable beast? will the aliens be suprisingly slow witted and dull for creatures that have made it to space? baffled by the most mundane objects? Will they be selfrightious dictators, cowards? or on the rare enjoyable occassion intellectual equals. Depending on the skills of the author sometimes a trope that seemed silly when presented by one is incredibly entertaining when handled by others.
One of my favorites is the reality warping humans that are unaware of their power in a comedic spoof on the hold my beer meme and also movie culture as humans proceed to stop wars with impromptu dance battles.
At least point its most interesting to see the difference in each use of the humans in space generic template. I shall begin listening.
